Ocean Front Home with Pool and Spectacular Views

We really enjoyed everything the house offers. The view from this house is so beautiful and fantastic.

Very clean, well maintained and well appointed home. Spent many evenings lounging around the pool, enjoying the beautiful sunsets. A very comfortable home, located near several snorkel spots. Recommended!

The property is gorgeous. The kids swam in the pool every day and the adults enjoyed the view of the ocean. The host was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!

Ocean Song was the perfect place for our 2024 family vacation. The location was so beautiful and the home had everything we needed! We enjoyed our stay!

What an impressive place to relax and unwind!! Picking the limes and mangos on the property was so fun. Close to two amazing snorkeling spots at Manini Beach and Two Step. With all the site seeing we did during the day, we always tried to make it back to this house in the evening for the most amazing sunsets ever. I even saw the green flash that the locals talk about ! The owners have thought of everything needed to make our stay perfect. Even the rusty bikes worked great for an early morning spin around the area. Overall, best vacation home we have been in so far. Would definitely come back here.

House with history but very well maintained, perfect for us. Clean and quiet.

We stayed here for a week and absolutely enjoyed it. The location is right on the ocean in a forested area. We saw whales, manta ray, and spinner dolphins from the back yard. You can snorkel, swim, and cliff jump minutes from the house. It’s also located within 15 minutes of Two Step and striking distance to captain cook. We watched the sunset every day. The house has plenty of spaces to lounge and enjoy the outdoors. The pool was great for our girls. The location puts it off the beaten path but close to popular attractions. If you’re looking for R&R or adventure this is a good spot.

This home is incredible! The outdoor set up is fantastic with plenty of comfortable seating and the best views you could hope for. We saw a lot of whales from the deck. The home is well stocked and beds are comfortable, and the host is very kind and accommodating. We hope to be back someday!

The pool and view were everything

The home was exactly as described, only prettier in person. We only wished we had stayed longer.

Extremely clean. Plenty of space. Air conditioning in two bedrooms. Rest of house is hot and humid despite opening all windows. Pool is fabulous. Bbq excellent and clean. There ARE homeless people camping to the left of property as well as locals and their families. Husband had an altercation with a homeless group who were yelling profanities at us for flying a drone? We were not flying the drone over them. It was uncomfortable for us after this experience. Unfriendly neighbour to the left when you drive towards property. He was waving his arms and yelling as we drove past his property yelling “slow down”. We were driving exactly 7 miles per hour. Signs all over to drive 5 miles per hour, however it is very hard to keep a vehicle at an uncomfortably slow speed of 5 miles. Neighbour continued to approach our vehicle on the rental property after we parked and confronted my husband. Very strange to come onto the property to scold us for driving 7 miles. The drive to Kona 35 - 45 minutes. You need to drive here to find any restaurants or proper dining as well as bigger grocery stores or pharmacies. Locks need to be added to many windows and sliding doors. Many windows and sliding doors do not lock at all and some had sticks place behind to act as a lock? We were fine as my husband is very resourceful and made it safe for us all. Overall property is private, spacious, clean, has a beautiful view and priced accordingly.

I can't say enough AMAZING things about this property, as well as the hosts. We are a family of 5 and the layout of the house was perfect! Communication was excellent from beginning to end, the check in process was a breeze, the house was VERY well stocked with anything you could possibly need while vacationing, and the location was fantastic- close enough for convenience, but far enough away to be in your own private oasis. The Sunsets here are postcard material every single day. The house was well kept as well, we saw the pool technician, landscaper, and the pest control technician all within the week we were there performing routine maintenance. Not sure if we will ever have the opportunity to return, but if we do, I would absolutely stay here again!!

Beautiful location, perfect sunsets

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in a stunning location. The home is in great shape and has everything you need, including flippers and snorkel equipment. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a great grill on the patio. The location is incredible, but about 30 minutes to Kailua-Kona - which we did not mind as we were looking for beauty and tranquility. The bay is a magical place to kayak and snorkel, and the patio and pool were wonderful.

Great location and awesome views

This is a cozy and wonderful place to stay. Lots of curvy roads to get there. Certainly off the beaten path. But… this is the natural Hawaii. The “country” as locals would call it. There’s lots of wildlife; so many birds, mongooses, geckos and such. The views are amazing. Sunsets are straight out the back. You can snorkel right behind the house, Two Step is 5 minutes away and Captain Cook is around the corner. Your can cliff jump, maybe 15 feet tall, 100 yards from the house. Volcano national park is about 90 minutes away and with the new “Saddle Road” Hilo is only 90 minutes away also. This was such a good spot for a base of operation for the island. Many other good snorkel and beach spots are just to the north in Kona. Maybe 30 minutes away. Be mindful, this is in the country so you will see ants. The Big Island has a lot of ants so this isn’t unique to this house. Just take care of your food. Clean up crumbs and spills immediately. Don’t leave food out and you won’t have any real problems. We would stay here again in the future. Wonderful place.

Comfortable, views can't be beat, right on the water, spent most of our time on the queen bed on the lanai looking out over the ocean watching the boats and snorklers, gorgeous pool, quiet, a short drive away from shopping or eating out, house has just about everything you need. We'll come back if we can.

If you’re dreaming of an ocean side paradise, there is no more beautiful place to wake up than Ocean Song! It is located in a secluded area literally at the water’s edge. The house is very spacious so there is plenty of room to get together and to have some privacy. The kitchen, as well as the entire house, is well stocked with whatever you may need. And we even saw a humpback whale while having breakfast on the fantastic lanai! We can’t wait to visit Ocean Song again.

We have made many visits to Ocean Song and as always, it did not disappoint! Everything was just perfect.

Ocean Song is well named! The view is nothing short of spectacular. The gorgeous pictures barely do it justice. And you are so close (less than 10 minutes) to some of the very best snorkeling on the Big Island. The outdoor swing, the hammock and all the facilities on the ocean facing back yard terrace (including the pool) are simply amazing. The beds were super comfy, and the welcome flowers were a treat. We were able to enjoy our dinners outside while we watched beautiful sunsets. The only thing we regret about our time at Ocean Song is that it was not long enough!

Beautiful home in a fantastic area. Relaxing and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We found everything absolutely fabulous! Plenty of space for our family of 6 ages 12-18. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Everyone loved the pool and beautiful view. There are many pool toys/floats, tons of snorkel and beach gear. We enjoyed great snorkeling right in front of the house, although you have to be aware of ocean conditions and can be tricky getting in and out on the lava cliffs. We would definitely come back!

This property exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful, the property was spotless, beds very comfortable and the pool refreshing. We made sure to be home every evening for the sunset and would sit, quietly ( 4 chatty friends) to enjoy the unique beauty. Being out, a little more in the country was an unexpected gift, we met lovely people, ate at very local establishments and reveled in the peace. It was very hard to leave. LaRissa was very available and checked on us. We will be back❤️🌺🍧🍹🌴

This is a wonderful house with a most amazing view. My wife and I found it a perfect retreat from the world!

Everything about this property is top notch. The attention to detail is unrivaled by any other VRBO property we have rented. From fresh flowers in many of the rooms, to a fully stocked kitchen, to beach/snorkeling gear….it’s as if the owner just walked out the door and left everything in place that would normally be reserved for their family! The views from the pool area are incredible! You can actually see the activity at the Captain Cook monument from the back yard. The pool is very nice and well kept. The outdoor grill is one of the best we have seen at a rental. We enjoyed walking to the little village, and also loved the brief walk to secluded Ke’Ei beach where we snorkeled with just a couple of other locals in view. This is a true gem of a place and we hope to return one day!!
