The villa is situated 30-40 mins from Split in a very quiet location overlooking the Adriatic coast (a note to other travellers that Google Maps isn't particular helpful for the precise location - ///stealthily.withstand.singing for what3words users. Parking is situated at the rear of the apartment with the front accessible down a short alley). I have to say that the apartment itself exceeded all expectations - it retains a rustic charm as well as being beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Set over 3 floors, on the ground floor there is a lovely courtyard with a room set to the back, which is cool even on a hot day. The main apartment is above with open plan living and dining area on the ground floor and tho bedrooms upstairs (both en-suite), one of which has a balcony with views over the coast. The bed was comfy and the whole apartment was incredibly comfortable and immaculately kept. We found that the apartment was really well located to explore the area - there are lots of beautiful towns and beaches within a short drive. The hosts also provide parking for guests at another property close to the beach in Stari Trogir. Helpfully, there is a list of places in the apartment to visit, all of which we would recommend. The hosts were absolutely delightful and provided us with local cheese, bread, cured meats and homemade wine on arrival. This was a really lovely surprise - hvala! Overall, this was a stunning apartment in a beautiful part of Croatia and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.
