Our host went out and picked up the necessary supplies for breakfast! It was very helpful! She was also very informative about things in the town and what we could do while we were there.

The property was everything we needed. Thanks for helping make our trip to Yellowstone awesome!

everything was very accommodating

It was good to have things in fridge for breakfast and also Bagels, cereals, etc. We enjoyed the water bottles left for us with the m&m candy packets. TV - figured out how to get netflex, only one we used. We felt it was clean when we arrived. We did not hesitate to use all beds. The girls slept on top of the quilts, and we weren't sure how to clean them. They had their own pillows. So we did not use the sheets or pillowcases, except in the north bedroom upstairs.

The narrow staircase was hard to climb without rails. The front door was not lockable, put a chair in front when we went to bed. Screen on upper right bedroom was out. We put fan in front of it to have some airflow. Also, cooler in other room was very noisy. The door knob and lock was missing on the 1/2 bath. Also no extra toilet paper in the vanity. Would be nice to see toilet paper holder in both bathrooms. Kind of scary to walk out back where the holes are dug. I was leary of walking on boards to put laundry in the backdoor where washer and dryer were.

It was very clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the welcome basket held magazines and brochures for local attractions. The breakfast items also made our mornings easier.

The owners apparently had not checked their listing advertising and marketing in a while. They had listed that there was a washer and dryer ON SITE. We planned a 10 day trip with 5 changes of clothing and specifically booked this location so we could do laundry at the halfway point. We got to the property after an 11 hour day of hiking at Yellowstone- dirty and ready to do laundry. When I text the owner asking where the washer and dryer were, I received a google pin to a laundromat 3 miles away. He didn’t ask why I was asking where the laundry was, just sent a pin. We found that rude to start out. When I sent him a screenshot of his listing, he responded several minutes later with a screenshot of it changed ‘on the back end’ and said that booking had a glitch. We went to the laundromat and spend almost $8.00 for one load. I sent him a screenshot asking him for reimbursement of the laundry costs as well as for our time and the frustration and inconvenience. I asked for a $40.00 discount and received a response that it was Booking.coms fault and I needed to go to them. I called booking on our way back to the park and was told ‘it is the sole responsibility of the property owner to ensure their marketing and advertising is up to date at all times and notify booking if their are issues they need to fix’. I didn’t fight the owner further, I didn’t want to ruin my vacation fighting someone who obviously wouldn’t take responsibility for their mistake. I received an auto message that the owners have booking send at the end of a stay - it said ‘put the linens in the washer and dryer when you leave’ meaning - they obviously hadn’t checked their marketing through booking since they renovated and removed laundry. So he lied when I originally text him about it and likely sent me a screenshot of him changing it right then. One of the bathroom doors also didn’t latch and had a large vent in the door so whoever was in the bathroom could be heard loud and clear in the living room.
