Better than ten out of ten!

Wish we could give it more than ten out of ten. This place was exceptional. Beautifully converted room with all facilities in the most spectacular of locations. The pool was great and especially welcome as the temperatures rose above 35 degrees! Breakfast was terrific. Our host was attentive and helpful with suggestions for visits and restaurants as well as special places to seek out - a magical hidden lake is a must!

Exceptional accommodation, and a wonderful location.

Exceptional experience. Our rooms were modern, comfortable, in a quiet country setting. Breakfast was delightful. The hosts were helpful, intelligent, and responsive. This is a dream location for people interested in pre-history: Chauvet grotto, Ardeche gorges, Cite prehistorie museum, hiking, and medieval towns. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Bucolic, remote yet easily accessible and near to some fantastic villages and walks.

We loved the views, the verdant plants and trees all around us and the astonishing bird life - the bird song from morning until night was entrancing and a welcome relief from city life. Our own little deck and the lovely pool were a delight in between rain showers! The hotel is very remote yet easily accessible and near to some serious walking opportunities and a wealth of pretty villages, markets and cultural amenities.

We could have done with some shampoo (rather than liquid soap) in the bathroom!

Our friends who stayed here few years ago gave us a recommendation and everything was just perfect like they said! The owner is very kind, he gave us recommendations for locations to visit and everything was very beautifull and also for restaurants that we really liked. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The area around room is quiet so you can sleep very well.

Just like in the movies!

Lovely place! We enjoyed a calm and cosy holiday in Ardèche although the temperatures were higher than usual. Our room was large and fresh, the swimming pool was great and we loved the typical French breakfast. Many thanks to the host, who really made us feel at home

Secret Hideaway

The room was a cave! So it was naturally cool and we slept great. The bathroom was modern and spacious. The whole experience was wonderful. The pool that overlooked the hills was a great plus. The B&B is a little outside the Ardeche tourist area, but worth the 15 minutes drive. Its quiet and peaceful, with a great breakfast and very unobtrusive host. We came by motorcycle. The path down to his house is gravel, just for info. Not terrible. If you decide to stay, stay at least 3 days so you can appreciate the beauty of this place and the area.

Beautiful, relaxing, quiet B&B

Everything was perfect. The room was great, clean, enough space, nice interior. There’s a pool and a jacuzzi with a view surrounded by trees. The breakfast was super, we loved the fresh bread, croissants and homemade confitures and pastries, with some variety every day :)! The hosts are supernice and helpful, with good tips for activities in the area.

Zeer rustig, in volle natuur en toch niet te ver van dorp verwijderd. Wandelafstand naar centrum. Geweldige ontvangst door gastheer, zeer behulpzaam en steeds bereikbaar. Verstrekt graag info over de streek. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen in de regio. Kraaknet zwembad.

Cette chambre d'hôte était magnifique. La chambre était très authentique, toute en pierre. Nous avons été bien accueillies et avons bénéficier d'un délicieux petit déjeuner. L'endroit est calme et la piscine est très agréable.

Un séjour délicieux en Ardèche

Maison d'hôtes très agréable et confortable. Piscine délicieuse avec une superbe vue. L'hôte, très sympathique, est aux petits soins pour les résidents : services, conseils. Point positif à signaler : la mise à disposition de vaisselle, d'un four à micro-ondes et de réfrigérateurs pour les résidents, ce qui permet de manger sur place simplement sans devoir se rendre au restaurant tous les soirs.

Pas évident de se garer dans les emplacements, mais c'est un détail.

Wij hebben hier een uitstekend verblijf gehad.

De rustige ligging in de natuur en het prachtige zwembad met uitzicht was top. Hele fijne betrokken host die zich erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam opstelt. Iedere morgen heerlijk opstaan met een goed ontbijtje.

Parkeren aan de krappe kant wanneer er vier auto’s staan mede door de dichte begroeiing. Jammer dat er geen barbecue of hot-tub beschikbaar was waar wel mee wordt geadverteerd.

Mooie locatie, heel mooi gerenoveerde kamers, heel leuk zwembad. Heel rustig en afgelegen, dat zochten we. Eigenaar is heel behulpzaam en geeft goede uitleg. Je hebt in de zomer de airco wel nodig. Kleinschalig, dus geen massatoerisme.

Doorgang tot de parking heb ik moeten vrijmaken van braamstruiken omdat bij elke verplaatsing de takken en doornen tegen onze nieuwe auto's schuurden.

Mooie historische b&b met een heerlijk zwembad. Prachtig gelegen, zeer stil maar met de auto ben je in korte tijd in de bewoonde wereld. Jeff is een geweldige gastheer, heel zorgzaam en rustig. Gewoon een mooi, puur mens. Hij heeft ons hele goede tips gegeven om de omgeving te ontdekken. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd.

Le cadre est magnifique. L’accueil fait par Jean a été très agréable, à la fois discret et complet, avec de très bons conseils. Les chambres sont vraiment indépendantes les unes des autres avec aucun vis à vis. Elles sont très bien agencées et décorées. La vue depuis la piscine est très belle. Nous sommes en pleine nature. Pour ceux qui aime le calme et la nature et tout ce qui la compose.

Fijn verblijf in Grospierres

Het zwembad van ca 10 meter lang en het terras met daarbij de prachtige tuin waren onze favoriet. Je kunt er lekker baantjes trekken en op de ligstoelen genieten van de zon. We hebben een mooie wandeling gemaakt om de hunebedden en een wonderbaarlijk blauw watertje (Font Vive) te zien. Echt de moeite waard om te doen. Jeff heeft ons hartelijk ontvangen en ons van ideeën voor uitstapjes voorzien. Het ontbijt met o.a. stokbrood, croissants, andere broodjes en eigengemaakte jams was eenvoudig maar goed. Ons huisje met houten terras lag heerlijk vrij met veel vogelgeluiden er omheen. De badkamer was goed, inrichting gezellig en we hebben lekker geslapen. Kortom, echt een adresje om aan te bevelen! We komen graag nog eens terug.

Un havre de sérénité. Le chant des oiseaux, la végétation, la vue. Un lieu pour se ressourcer. La bâtisse ancienne est très bien restaurée. Nous avions une chambre très spacieuse avec une décoration originale. Belle salle de bain et coin avec machine à café et bouilloire. Très jolie piscine et une eau sans odeur de chlore. L'hôte est très accueillant et disponible pour prodiguer conseils de visites et informations diverses.

Sonnige Tage in Grospierres!÷

Das B & B hatte uns bereits bei der Auswahl auf den Fotos angesprochen, aber war in der Realität sogar noch schöner. Die Lage und das Gebäude sind echt außergewöhnlich. Der Ausblick vom schönen Pool über die Landschaft und trotz der sehr ruhigen Lage kann man bei einem abendlichen Spaziergang nach 1500 Metern verschiedene Lokale im naheliegenden Örtchen Grospierres zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war genauso gemütlich und süß wie die Einrichtung der Unterkunft, die trotz des sonnigen Wetters, dank der dicken Wände, eine angenehm kühle Nachtruhe bot. Der Gastgeber war zudem sehr freundlich und gab uns auf Englisch täglich tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Ausgangspunkt und Rückzugsort um die Vielfalt der Region zu genießen!
