About this house rental
This lovely home sits on over half acre lot surrounded by palm trees, lush green lawns and tropical flowers with gorgeous views of the ocean. Resort style backyard with private pool with waterfall and a hot tub creates a relaxing oasis to enjoy at any time of the day or the evening and will make you want to stay forever. The pool temperature is maintained at a comfortable 80 degrees for year around enjoyment.
Fall asleep to the sound of palm trees rustling and wake up to the birds chirping right outside your window. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, gadgets, cookware and much more, whether you choose to simply enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Kona coffee before starting your adventures or prepare a full meal. There is also a grill and lots of outdoor furniture if you choose to cook and eat while enjoying the beautiful backyard.
Many windows in the house bring in cool Hawaiian breeze, and there is air-conditioning for warmer days or humid nights.
Three bedrooms: king in the primary room, queens in the two guest rooms and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Bring the youngest ones with you. We have two Pack 'n Plays and a stroller. Well stocked with luxury linens and ample towels along with fun stuff like beach chairs, pool toys, ice-chests and coolers. The park across the street is great if you choose to play ball or Frisbee.
Free WIFI with high speed internet along with a 65 inch TV in the living room is perfect for watching a movie or your favorite series at the end of the day, streamed over high-speed Internet from Amazon, Hulu and/or Netflix. A good selection fo board games and books are also available for some quality down time. Telephone service provides free calls throughout the US and Canada.

Unbeatable location tucked away in a private gated community in the hills of Kona with a five minute walk down a private path to Ali'i Drive which makes for a easy walk or bike ride to Magic Sands Beach Park and Kailua Village within a 2 mile radius. Kailua village offers many shopping, dining and waterfront entertainment options. Safeway, Walmart, Target, Starbucks and many more amenities are within a 4 mile radius, Costco is approximately 8 miles away and Kona airport is around 11 miles.

This may be the best VRBO we've stayed in. My two adult daughters and their husbands and I stayed at this beautiful house for 10 days. We spent mornings at a beach but always came back for afternoons at the lovely private pool and surroundings. The house has everything you need. In fact, I told the 'kids' that if they didn't find something they needed (especially in the kitchen) then they weren't looking hard enough. It was an amazingly well-equipped kitchen. It was easy not only to make meals there, but we had our pick of pans to make my daughter's birthday cake, frozen cubes for packing lunches, and choices of coffee pots. The beds were great, the bathrooms well planned out, and the open space made it easy to spend time with each other. Others have mentioned the pool area which is no surprise. It is airy, beautifully landscaped, and the pool was always just right. Access to the house was easy. Sean was always available and couldn't have been more helpful. We recommend this VRBO to everybody.

We enjoyed three weeks at the Kona House of Palms. The pool made this property worth every penny. Very private with lush tropical garden and lava rock waterfall. Great location in secure, quiet gated community. Super clean and had everything we needed for kids and grandkids. Highly recommend.

Sean is great to work with and communicates promptly. The home has everything you can possibly need and everything is in impeccable shape. We enjoyed the pool and pool toys, the BBQ and all of the snorkeling gear, beach chairs and ice chest too! The neighborhood is beautiful and so peaceful. We will definitely choose Kona House of Palms when returning to the Big Island.

This property was in excellent condition and was very well-stocked for a comfortable stay. Communication was great, and access via keypad entry was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We absolutely would stay here again.
