Our check in was very easy as well as our communication with the property manager. The house is fully equipped so you can have a fun and relaxed time without having to worry about anything. The house is also conveniently located close to a gas station. The boat ramp is at a short distance from the property making it easier to spend more time at the lake.

The house has a lot of space indoors and outdoors to relax as a group. Unfortunately it rained the entirety of our stay, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the patio, balconies and water toys as we had hoped to. The rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen very functional. We would definitely stay again in a sunny weekend!

We enjoyed the property. Very relaxing. Location was good. Boat dock was good as well. My wife, daughter and myself used the kayaks. My mom caught a bunch of fish in the evening. The only issue we realky had was the upstairs bathroom shower not draining properly causing the tub to fill up. Missing towel bar and some light bulbs that were burned out. The host/owner was very generous with us checking in early and was very accommodating.

The location was perfect directly on the water. Nice deck to fish of off and launch the kayaks which were provided by the homeowner. Plus all the life jackets and more. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out to the quiet cove which was perfect for smaller kids . The drive to town was short and there was plenty to do. What a great place to stay!!

We were able to find and access the home easily. We launched our boat at Lake LBJ Marina and took it to the little channel behind the home. The slip was full of algae so we tied up at the dock just fine. It was great to be able to go in and out to the lake. We used the paddle boards that were at the house. There’s so much space at the home but only two tiny bathrooms. The carpet needs some cleaning. We enjoyed the game room on the bottom level.

More rustic than expected, water in canal was dead/no flow and lots of algae. Carpet needs replacing. Plenty of spices, pots/pans and dishwasher was excellent. Lots of water toys even a lily pad! Tons of deer and very quiet home. 3rd floor patio needs minor repairs. Slight mold smell in bottom floor and Pac-Man game broken. We had a good time here fishing and relaxing

This was an absolutely amazing getaway for my family, friends and I… the location & property really make for an entire experience in itself. Plenty of space & privacy for everybody to relax, and the views are nice and quiet. The kayaks and paddle boards were such a treat, and a great way to get a morning sunrise and evening sunset workout!!! The patio gave the group a great view of the totality of the April 2024 eclipse! Wonderful spot and several local ducks came “to bed” right on our patio deck during the eclipse darkness. We had clear starry night skies, and wonderful laughs and smiles around the fire. The extra propane came in handy, thank y’all!!! We were able to enjoy evening fires and cook food on the grill. Highly recommend this property rental!! I and my family & friends felt very at home, and it was so special for us all. I lost my German shephard a few months ago, and she was expected to be on the trip, so this place really was a spiritual & emotional retreat for me and my grief as well. Thank yall for this affordable, magical opportunity.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood & has waterfront access w/a boat dock & pier. Loved that it was off the beaten path; the owners provide access to their paddle boards and kayaks - an awesome amenity. The home is older & could use some updating, plumbing is slow draining & the decks are in need of repair…the majority of the windows have coverings however they are bamboo/grass and have zero privacy at night. (Master on 3rd floor does have room darkening curtains😊). We would have been much more comfortable with curtains on all windows. The layout of the home would be good for couples, bedrooms are on all 3 levels…but those with younger kids may find it harder. Overall, the cons are overshadowed by the beauty of Lake LBJ! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home!

My family (two adults, two kids) loved our stay at Horseshoe Bay! The house was very clean and just as shown in the pictures. We enjoyed fishing off the back deck and using the tandem canoe. They have EVERYTHING you could want for lake activities — plenty of life jackets, paddle boards, and smaller boats for kids. We also really enjoyed the proximity to Marble Falls, one of our favorite spots in central Texas. We would love to come back!

Lots of room in a quiet neighborhood. We visited this house right on a Lake LBJ cove looking for a place for a summer vacation. Marble Falls restaurants are just 15 min away, which we took advantage of. Really enjoyed our stay and Glenn was a great host who communicated all the info we needed before our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this nice home. The canal at the back was perfect for us as we floated and relaxed and had gorgeous weather until late Sunday evening. We cooked all weekend and had everything we needed available to us as the house was very well stocked. We had plenty of room and lots of choices of beds. Will come back again to enjoy another relaxing weekend at the lake. FYI: The bathtub faucet on the top bathroom needs a new handle. Otherwise everything is in great working order.

We loved this quiet spot on the lake. It is secluded on a cove that allows for fishing, kayaking, swimming and floating without boat traffic. Great for children except it is difficult to get out of the water. There is not a ladder or easy way to get out. Lots of life vests and other amenities for use in the water. We enjoyed the patio areas with lots of tables and seating. The house is great. Could use a deep clean but overall it was very nice. Beds are comfortable. We would go back. Owner was accommodating and allowed early access. We had a great weekend in a great location!

Will I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY! This three story little gem was better than we could have imagined. The owner, Chip, was very easy to communicate with and returned my emails promptly. He also went out his way to make sure our stay was cool and comfortable - even having an AC repairman on standby just in case! The neighborhood is quiet, with deer roaming around plus the inlet off the back porch to swim or boat in. We were just far enough out of town to have a quiet weekend, but close enough if we needed to run to the store for a forgotten item. We have a race weekend every year at this time and we will definitely contact Chip again for the weekend.

Had a great time and plenty of room for the 4th of July, house was laid out very well and spacious for 10 adults. Boat dock and outdoor areas, porches and such were perfect and very roomy. Calm cove with no activity, so it was very relaxing and quiet for anyone worried about boat traffic. Will definitely stay here again. Connects right into the main part of LBJ Lake. Neighborhood is also very family friendly and plenty of parking for many guests and their vehicles. Loved our stay and Thanks again for everything.

For someone with a group of boys, this house is ideal. The house and furniture is tired & could use a good spring cleaning. Downstairs area doesn't get cleaned much. Kitchen appliances are updated but oven had a dust layer on it. Second story bed was comfortable, AC worked well, and the water is good unlike some lakes (smelly and sulfur smelling) The weather was mild when we were there, so we really enjoyed the back of the house along with complimentary kayak and fishing gear. Its a quiet area with next to no boat traffic and plenty of deer to observe. However we felt it was a bit overpriced. This is a typical no frills lake house.

Clean and safe. Small children would be near a dock which does not have a retaining wall. For adults, not a problem. Nice and clean inside and cool. It was a scorcher outside the day I was there. Chip was a clear communicator with me and made the stay an easy one. I appreciated his quick replies to my quesitons. Yes, the beds were comfy and I am picky about that. Clean kitchen and so was the rest of the house. I felt safe alone and would go again.

We love this place. So cozy! Love the fact that the patio is right by the water. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Everything was cleaned. The extras: Kayak, fishing poles, tubes, board and card games was a plus. The owner was very much flexible and accommodating. Mahalo nui loa for accommodating my Ohana. We truly enjoyed our stay. Great quiet spot right off the lake. There is plenty of outside seating and you can hang out away from bedrooms if someone wants to nap. One downfall was that we ended up using the neighbors' doc because there was no ladder from which to get out of the water. Beds were all super comfortable! We went for july 4th and could see the fireworks from the top balcony. I love the large family room on the bottom level, would be great if there was a small fridge there too. I would stay here again.
