About this apartment rental
This 3 BEDROOM APARTMENT (third floor) is fully repainted and refurnished with European-designed furniture (indoor and outdoor).
The apartment has a large terrace with stunning ocean views and looks out over the private beach and pool.
The terrace holds a 6-person modern dining table with 6 chairs as well as a lounge chair, perfect to have your morning coffee (or late-night wine☺)
The living room has a sofa, coffee table, and bookshelf with books about the island. There is a TV and there is WIFI access throughout the apartment as well as on the beach and pool area.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped for 6 people ( 2 adults max when booking for 6) and has an oven, microwave, stove, fridge/freezer combo, Nespresso coffeemaker, blender, and toaster.
In the corridor, there is a guest bathroom and a laundry area with a washer, dryer, and ironing board.
The large master bedroom with sea view has a kingsize bed, TV, writing area, and walk-in closet. It has an adjacent bathroom with double vanity, toilet and large walk-in shower. Of course, plenty of bath- and beach towels will be provided.
The second bedroom has two twin beds which can easily be transformed into a kingsize double bed. Perfect for two children/teenagers or an extra adult couple joining you. This room also has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The third bedroom is smaller but perfect for 1 teenager or two smaller children. It holds a single bed with an extra mattress that can be pulled out and made into an extra bed. There is also a smaller shower area and toilet.
Every room has large wardrobes.
In front of the building, there is a private parking area (one car for each apartment), and the whole area is gated and secured. There is a security guard on-site during the night.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo at The Strand. We are a family of four with two young kids (5 and 8). Everything is incredibly convenient with this location with phenomenal restaurants all within short walking distance. You are directly next to Avila Hotel if you want any hotel amenities. The beach cove at The Strand is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and playing in sand. Our boys loves the family of iguanas that live in the rocks. Communication with the people are great and everyone is friendly. Curacao and this VRBO was 5 stars all around for a family looking for adventure. Only slight negatives are construction next door, which we barely ever heard and was not a problem. Also, directly across the street lot is a run down area with a rooster that loves mornings, but it was cultural and fun for us that was part of the awesome experience that you go to Curacao for!

Karin was GREAT with check-in and check-out. Property was beautiful! Very spacious, very clean. Great location for walking into Willemsted with tons of restaurants along the way. Small suggestion—put a loose sheet on the bed as another option to just the comforter. That way guests can keep the AC temp higher at night and still be cool enough to sleep.

The location is great with a swimming, pool, beach, and snorkeling, right out your door. The condo is spacious and can house 2 to 3 families easily. It is close to shops and restaurants. We would recommend the Wine Cellar. There were, however, hidden charges that we did not expect. We were asked to pay for the electric bill beyond a certain amount per day, which was not in the contract. It’s been three weeks since we rented and we have not received our deposit back nor did we receive any communication as to why. For these reasons, we are giving this condo a low rating and renters should be aware of hidden charges.
