This log cabin is situated on the bank of the world famous Kenai River; only 20 steps will get you from the front door to the private fishing dock. You can catch sockeye, king and silver salmon; even some rainbow trout. There is a fish cleaning station as well as a vacuum sealer ( bags not provided) and a large deep freezer for your catch of the day.
The property is located approximately 2 ½ miles from Fred Meyer in downtown Soldotna. All amenities are included – linens, utensils, fully furnished living room, washer/dryer. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This will sleep 6 comfortably. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. It has a living room with wood stove and a sofa bed, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Cleaning of the cabin is provided for any extended stays.
The only problem the property has is the guests must bring their own toothbrush and will not want to leave once they arrive.
We rent this cabin to visitors during the summer months but also have long term lease options available for a special rate.
Soldotna is the perfect location for your Alaskan adventure. We are 3 hours from Anchorage, close to the Russian River, Homer & Seward and just few miles from shops and restaurants.

The place was clean and well stocked. The host, Sarah, lived very close by and answered all our questions. The fish platform and fish cleaning station were excellent.
I would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome cabin nestled against the Kenai River.
Fishing was slow while we were there, if we had been there when the heavier runs of fish came through it would have been the perfect storm!

We had a great stay at this property and it was so clean and stocked with everything you need and more. Two of our favorite things were the fish cleaning station and the fire-pit. Sarah has thought of everything and she is so kind and quickly available to answer any questions and if you get a chance to have her homemade egg rolls-don’t miss that opportunity. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this sweet cabin for your Soldatna visit.
