Residence Lubina

We stayed at Residence Lubina in Sarajevo and had an absolutely fantastic experience — I’d give it a solid 10 out of 10 and would happily recommend it to others. From the beginning, the host (Namik) was extremely friendly, helpful, and communicative. Even before booking, he was very responsive on WhatsApp, answering all our questions quickly and efficiently. When we arrived, he was waiting for us at the entrance, which made the key handover quick and easy — a smooth start to our stay. During the trip, he even helped us book a taxi to the train station, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We were a bit unsure about whether the sofa bed would be sturdy enough for two people, but it turned out to be very solid and supportive — no issues at all. The Wi-Fi was strong and the location is also a plus — just a short walk from the Yellow Fortress, which offers one of the best panoramic views of Sarajevo, especially at sunset. There are also supermarkets and grocery stores nearby, making it very convenient for anything you might need. A local mosque is just a minute away, so you can hear the beautiful adhan — a special and calming part of the atmosphere. For those who prefer a quieter experience, the windows are soundproof enough to block it out if needed. The only slight downside is that the walk from Baščaršija to the apartment is a bit uphill, but it's manageable as long as you're reasonably fit — just make sure to wear comfortable shoes. And honestly, the surrounding neighborhood is peaceful, and the local people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Residence Lubina for anyone visiting Sarajevo — it's a peaceful, well-kept, and hospitable place to stay. We can't wait to be back :)

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Sarajevo! Everything was perfect — the place is clean, comfortable, and located in an excellent area, close to everything you might need. The host was truly exceptional — very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We really appreciated his assistance and hospitality. Highly recommended!

The apartment is located in a tiny dead end, the host informed us in details how we can get there, so it was easy to find it. The host was already waiting for us there, so the handover was also fluent. A minaret is located in the neighbour, as a foreigner it was interesting to hear the prayer of the muezzin at morning and night. Fortunately it was not loud, so it did not disturbed those who were already asleep. The apartment is spacious inside, the furniture and the equipment are modern. The air cooler was able to cool down the entire apartment. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, so we had a peaceful night during our stay. Safe private parking place is located inside the fence, so it was easy to leave the car while we were on our trip to the city center. The old town is about 10-15 minutes by foot, and during the walk plenty of famous spots of the city can be seen. So overall the apartment has a great location to discover the city, the interior was fine and comfortable, and the host is professional, therefore we can definietely recommend it for a stay.
