Enjoy the stunning views from this light filled cottage on the pristine waters of Kennebec Lake in the heart of the beautiful Land 'O Lakes region. The cottage provides the best of rustic and modern elements with cathedral ceilings, modern kitchen (dishwasher) and 2 bathrooms, comfortable furniture and new beds. Muskoka room on lower level with relaxing hammock. Two outdoor decks for enjoying the view. Stairs to lakeside dock and deck as well as fire pit (may not be suitable for small children). Ideal family get away and perfect location for friends to share a week or two of downtime. Sharbot Lake less than 15 min for groceries/alcohol. Perth and Westport 40 min away.

The cottage was spotless and the owners provided essentials for cleaning. The lake water was warm and the kayaks and paddle board were easily accessible as well as life jackets and paddles. The only drawback was that there is no air conditioning and the cottage was very hot when the temperature reached 30 with humidity. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

What a beautiful house on a great lake. We have been vacationing on Lake Kennebec for over 30 years, staying at a resort but needed to find a new place. This house had everything. Plenty of space inside and out. Liked the idea of having the 2 levels. My son and fiancé were able to have some privacy on the lower level with a bed with large window overlooking the lake and their own bath. It was nice to have the mudroom to store all our stuff. Kitchen was well stock with everything we could need and so glad for the dishwasher. Relaxing in the living room overlooking the lake felt like we were in a tree house. We all enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboard and fishing from the dock. Canada Day we had a campfire down by the lake and to our surprise there were fireworks from the one island which were great. Hiked 2 of the Kennebec trails which are right down the street. Hikes were good, but loads of bugs this time of year. Looking forward to trying in the fall. Annette was very easy to work with and responded in a timely manner. You can tell that she really tried to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we cant wait to return next year.
