About this house rental
Z-16 is our little slice of beach living. Our location is within walking distance of the pools, camp store, mini golf & arcade. We have been at Ocean Lakes since 1976 and at Z16 since 2003. We like the atmosphere and always enjoy the good southern hospitality of Ocean Lakes. Our house offers 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a stacked washer & dryer & flat screen TV's in both bedrooms as well as the den and WiFi. Our den has high ceilings & opens into the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven & double sinks. The kitchen table has 4 chairs along with 4 bar stools for the bar area in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, mixing bowls and baking dishes. Glassware & sliverware are included as well as cooking utensils., Our property has a 'L' shaped deck on the front & the side with outdoor chairs & table. A gas gill in included on the deck & we also have a charcoal grill at the back of the house. There is a large rubbermaid container that holds all beach chairs & umbrellas for your use.
*** You will need to provide your own towels, linens, bath soaps, detergents and paper products.
***Ocean Lakes is a family-oriented, gated campground. All guests must abide by the rules and regulations of the campground. Upon arrival, you will need to check in at the main office in order to register your vehicle with Ocean Lakes and pay a $12/day parking pass fee per vehicle. *** Please note this is paid directly to Ocean Lakes Campground and is subject to change. This is the current daily rate Ocean Lakes charges as of Spring 2021. Please see Oceans Lakes Campgrounds website for more information concerning additional parking options.
*** A security deposit of $200.00 is required and will be refunded after 14 days from checkout, provided there is no damage to the house. The house must be cleaned before departure.
***Payment for rent must be received 30 days in advance of the date of check in.
***Cancellations must be received 30 days prior to check in in order to to receive a full refund.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean.Great cozy place with a family vibe with everything you need.. Close to everything and the host Gail is a blessing herself. We will definitely use again. Gonna miss Z-16. It was a great time.

Check in was easy and there was fast communication with the host. House was cute and is very close to everything. You could walk easily if you don’t get a golf cart.

Upon arrival we followed explicit instructions and found that the water had been left on by previous guest….found out why….dish washer was loaded full of dishes. Food left in refrigerator and freezer and floor was dirty(tile and carpet). The tub had been left with hair in drain and a blanket was wet in the dryer. All things from the previous guest we assumed? While those things are unavoidable and understandable from renters, here are the issues we had with Z16. The bed in the larger bedroom did not fit the frame and the ends were metal and stuck out at the bottom of the bed and were covered with towels. The ceiling fans were filthy and everything needed to be dusted and cleaned, and when we went to sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch, the neighbors told us that they were too short in the back and that the previous guest had fell backwards. Last, but not least, we were not thrilled that a cat continued to jump up on porch and sit at door and that there was a feeder/waterer on the porch as well. We are NOT cat people and did not want to be responsible for any pet while on vacation? Despite our issues, we had a great vacation and enjoyed the location of Z16! Ocean Lakes is great fun and family friendly no matter where you stay. We are thankful for the experience and will be back next year!
