A beautifully tranquil escape from every day stres, hustle and bustle

The property was lovely and cosy, it was exactly what we were looking for - a break away from every day life! The views were stunning and the fenced area was perfect for our dog. The location was great as lots of beautiful walks and eating locations within close distance. Seeing the sheep and the cows every morning was lovely! The property was clean, beautifully presented and you could tell a lot of time and effort had gone in to building and designing the property. The hosts were so helpful with updates and questions about the property and surrounding area!

The most perfect stay. Excellent location for us as we wanted to be central so we could travel north to snowdonia and south to haffren forest. We wanted somewhere quiet, with a fire and or hot tub and pet friendly. This booking was the most perfect place we could have found.

Everything was absolutely incredible. Perfect long weekend get away and nearby to loads of great walks and hikes. Lisa was an amazing host and even provided us with paracetamol that we’d forgotten!

Absolutely beautiful location and the cabin is ideal for a few nights away to escape the world.

Only down side i can find is that the log burner didn't kick out much heat at all, so we relied on the electric fan.

Absolutely stunning views and scenery. Couldn't get it anything better. The lodge was beautiful, had everything you needed! No microwave but a air fryer and pots & pans if you're planning to cook. Couldn't fault it, good reception and wifi too. Such a comfortable bed as well!

Property was clean and tidy and catered for all our needs. Everything we needed and so well maintained. Hottub was great easy to warm up and bed was lovely and comfy. Really cozy homely feeling and situated in the most beautiful place with a mountain view with a waterfall. The log fire made it lovely and warm as our first night the weather was really bad.

Perfect secluded getaway

The best of its kind we have ever stayed in, secluded and everything included. The hot tub was amazing, the projector in bed and all of the facilities were just bliss. We went to Coed y Brenin for walking and mountain biking, this was a perfect base as it’s only 30 mins away. We had BBQ food each night and just sat in the glorious sun. The best! Thank you so much.

Gorgeous Romantic Little Getaway ❤️

The cottage was gorgeous, a secret little hideaway in the mountains! The view on all sides was stunning, we couldn’t get over how quiet it was! All the facilities were perfect, the hosts even pre-warmed the hot tub! It was an amazing short stay, we only wished we had longer! The fire pit by the swing seat was a lovely little addition to pass by the warm evenings Will definitely be back, it was the perfect location for a romantic short break ❤️

The location is just perfect! Good access, securely fenced in and safe for dogs. What a spot! Lisa is so lovely and accommodating. The cabin is incredibly clean and well-furnished with such thoughtful attention to the little things/appliances you might need. The hot tub is just amazing, pre-lit for us too! Honestly, one of the loveliest mini-breaks we have been on for years. I will DEFINITELY be returning! Rhyfeddol! Diolch yn fawr ❤️

Beautifully located in the central Welsh mountains, the tiny house offered stunning views and was well equipped with everything needed for a short stay. It was a unique and peaceful retreat, perfect for a quick getaway.

The space could feel a bit cramped, especially for taller or larger guests, or those who prefer more room indoors. It got a little too warm in the evenings, as we couldn’t open the windows due to bugs—there were no insect screens fitted.

A peaceful and cozy getaway with everything we needed—wish we could’ve stayed longer!

What was there not to like!? This cabin had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. We ended up spending a lot of time just relaxing here because it was so peaceful and comfortable. The hot tub was a definite highlight—quick to heat up and stayed warm for hours, making for some very relaxing evenings. The king-size bed was super comfy, and the small kitchenette was impressively well-equipped for preparing both breakfast and evening meals. The thoughtful touches like complimentary chocolate, crisps, tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, and even cooking oil really made us feel at home. We also made good use of the BBQ, which was a nice bonus. Although I didn’t spot a hair dryer at first and skipped washing my hair, I did eventually find one tucked away in a box under the sofa—so it’s there if you need it! We also appreciated the maps, books, and games provided—it’s those little extras that make a difference. The location was lovely. This was our first time in Wales, and while we hadn’t done much planning for walks, the surrounding area was beautiful and full of potential. I only wish we had booked a longer stay so we could explore more of it! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

We loved everything from start to finish, tiny house is beautiful with everything we needed for a lovely break. So peaceful, no WiFi or signal and no interruptions. Hot tub was gorgeous 😍 Comfy bed and gorgeous scenery. We took a lovely walk to a hidden pool on the mountain for a swim . And went for a nice drive into the village to the little Chinese restaurant/ pub , lovely food. Would definitely book again. Lovely hosts who where really helpful. ☺️ Thank you for a lovely stay xx

Lovely accommodation and great stay

Lovely place, the surrounding area is unreal and the accommodation had everything you need with amazing views. We were initially planning on bringing our two small dogs (Corgi and a mixed breed) but decided against it last minute and it would not have been too suitable for them, as there are two horses in the field next to the accomodation and on the farm there are working dogs (in their cages) and a non-working dog walking freely. We had absolutely no issues with the dogs but would have done if we had taken ours so just as an FYI in case anyone is planning on taking their dogs in case that could be a bother. Saying that we loved our stay and would definitely consider visiting again as there was nothing to fault. Thank you ☺️

Breathtaking views

Off grid, beautiful views, comfy bed. Could not fault this place whatsoever. Has everything you need. Hot tub was a great feature. Only tip I would give people is do NOT leave the outdoor light on if you're outside at night. Probably common sense to most people, but we soon had a family of cockchafers (great name, hideous appearance) swarming around the lights. There really is no signal but it was very refreshing to be away from the 'real world' for a few days. The bed was fun to climb up into, did struggle a bit after a bottle of wine though. Would definitely recommend.

Little Gem Off Grid

Amazing little break. Beautiful little cabin with everything needed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a little air fryer. BBQ really good with all utensils. Hot tub was fab and loved making the little fire to warm it up. Bathroom had everything needed lovely crisp white towel. Bed was super comfy again spotless clean with crisp white bed sheets. Loved the sheep and horses in the field next to us, met with the owner on the way in she was lovely. No signal at all and I think that is a major selling point for this place.. it was lovely being off grid and having a digital detox, I took an iPad with downloaded films on Netflix for on the evening, took some playing cards and a little speaker for music (although I think I spotted a little speaker in the cabin to) when we needed signal we drove to Starbucks (20 min drive) and signal was perfect there whilst grabbing a coffee. Highly recommend this place to anyone, we went as a couple for some ‘us’ time and it was great no phones to disturb us. We drove to Snowdonia and done a walk that was about 50 minute drive and we drive to Barmouth for the day which was a 45 minute drive. Lovely little gem of a place and would 100% go back. Thanks for having us stay.

To everyone who complains in the comments about the small house, the inconvenient entrance to the bed, the hot water in the shower, the basic hot tub - It's time to go back to the retirement home and it's time to choose four or five star hotels where you will get everything on a plate. A lovely little cabin in an absolutely stunning place!

This place is amazing, a lovely little cabin with everything you need and perfect hosts in Lisa and Sion. Property feels warm and holds the heat of the fire really well. The kitchen works well and living space is comfortable. The ultimate thing is waking up to the view from cabin, wow! It is located perfectly with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, with easy access to hikes and short drive to other areas of this beautiful area.

Not a thing, even the lack of mobile signal and Wi-Fi was actually a really nice break from normality.

Perfect relaxing stay in idyllic rural location

It surpassed our expectations and was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing break. We loved the rural location and simplistic comfort of the tiny house. The farm and surrounding countryside were stunning. The secure garden and outdoor space were perfect for enjoying the house with the dogs too. The hosts made us feel very welcome with their messages before and during the stay and little gifts left out when we arrived. Having no signal was perfect to switch off.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ty bech twt. The house is small but has everything you need and the log burner makes it very cosy. The views from every window are absolutely stunning and we found the bed really comfy. We made good use of the log fired hot tub even with the rain. Perfect to relax in after a long walk. We also loved mixing with the locals at the Red lion pub a few miles away. Brilliant food and very friendly and welcoming. Lisa and Sion the hosts are brilliant and on hand if you need them. They also left us a nice welcome pack. We will definitely be back!
