The darker aesthetic was what initially brought us to this ryokan. It was something we hadn't seen from other places to stay during our trip. Everyone was kind and helpful and the room was comfortable!

Locatin
No place to sit in the room except for stools and the bed. There was no window that we could see out of. The hotel is very dark. I prefer lots of light and windows. The location was good for walking around. Close to most of the attractions,

The staff went out of the way to decorate our room for a 43rd wedding anniversary. That was very special and meant a lot to us.
