That we couldn’t stay longer

Great location for what we we’re doing. Easy walking distance to some lovely pubs and shops. The beds and set up of the house was really comfortable. The breakfast supplies were a lovely and thoughtful touch that you don’t see very often now. It’s something you remember and appreciate.

Only one thing comes to mind and that’s the water pressure in the shower. Took a while to get the taps and temperature figured out.

Looking for two hotel or motel rooms and this three-bedroom cottage came up at the same price. It is a character filled house with period furniture and beds and close to central Ballarat. Bonuses were eggs, bacon, and a large fresh milk in the fridge, plus a huge range of coffee pods, muffins, jam, butter, honey, etcetera, and a well-equipped kitchen. Don't expect five star in a hundred-year-old house, just character like surrounding Ballarat houses. The owner, Jen, sent detailed instructions regarding accessing the keys and parking at the back, and contacting her was easy if we needed to.

As a sufferer of arthritis and using a walker, I found the toilet very low, but the place is as it was built and not advertised as disabled friendly, so not complaining at all.
