Excellent place to stay

The hostess was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, bathroom very clean as well. We had a room with terrace and there is a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the backyard with children toys and to have your food or coffee. Everything is absolutely beautiful and you can relax and actually enjoy your family trip.

Great place for families with kids.

We enjoyed our 3 night's stay at the Maria- Teo Villa. There are so many things we liked. 1st the trampoline- the kids were crazy about it, the wide yard was filled with kiddo facilities, the property location is safe for kids because is placed between houses, so it does not have a direct access to traffic but yet has stairs connecting the Vila to the main road (Marshal Tito in Dojran). Beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean so as the toilets, everything inside was almost new. The property provided soft blankets clean sheets, towels, toilet paper, soap and hair dryer, mosquito web on doors, air conditioner and TV& a kitchenette. The lady maintaining the place was so nice, previously worked in kindergarten so she knew how to handle all guest kids and they were all listening her :) We had 2 rooms (one for us, and the other for my brother and his family) and luckily, one next to the other on the same terrace so we shared everything and enjoyed easily together. We didn't plan on cooking there at first place, but when we realized that it was much easier to be in that yard with kids than in restaurant we stayed there almost entire time :) We even had (disposable) barbeque- for which I want to apologize to the owner since it was probably not part of the deal, but yet they allowed us. Once we visit Dojran again we would definitely try staying at this villa again and I highly recommend it!

First of I must point out that we had great time at the place! But I must share and is only my opinion that I hope it helps the owner- the sand place is kid's dream but unfortunately also cat's toilet, so I definitely recommend being removed. Other thing to mention was, one of the rooms had no kitchenette (only refrigerator) and the room that had it- actually is not suitable for meal preparation, only for something simple and quick, therefore if people go there for vacation should consider eating in restaurants or using the outdoor kitchen and this is not so private because it is shared for all the guests. And also, you can't fight cats out of that kitchen at night they go all over the place searching for food.

To be avoided in winter when it's cold

The room was cold when we arrived as the heating system was not switch on before our arrival (3 c outside all the day). The heating system was very poor, still 12c inside after 3 hours of heating... In the morning after 12h of heating at max power, we had 15c. Hopefully, we had our sleeping bag. There was no hot water as well. A sham after spending all the day outside on our bike, in winter. Heating plates for cooking and refrigerator were not plugged in, so we had to move the furniture to plug them in. At least, the guy who welcomed us was nice.

Superb

Nice house, super clean! We only stayed one night on our way to Greece and it was perfect for what we needed. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean and new. Host was very nice and friendly. It’s right next to the lake so we had a little walk and coffee in the morning before our trip.

Nice place to stay overhinght

The building is not directly next to the road, so it is quiet during the night. Rooms are OK, clear, and have the basic amenities. However, the room size is small, and 'kitchen facilities' are very basic. On the other hand, we had an almost private terrace outside, which compensated for the small space inside.

Small room size, although it is OK for one or two night stays. It is a bit pricey for what it offers. However, the hots were nice.

It was near by and clean. The room was nice, we had a fridge and AC wimhich was lovely. The bathroom was also clean

There was one bathroom for the floor and once the toilet paper ran out on day one, it was never refilled and we stayed for 3 days which was annoying. Also while I understand that for the festival prices go up, it still was more than expensive and I don't know if I'd go back in the summer. Edit: after posting the review I received a text message from the owner I suppose that was quite rude and unnecessary. Sure we didn't actually ask you to put toilet paper but you had new guests all the time, were you not checking when you were preparing the rooms? And I never said the apartment wasn't great.. 8 is a perfectly good rating. Also since you made it clear you don't want us back, I'd add that upon arrival the lady that welcomed us asked if we could sleep on the bigger bed so she wouldn't have to wash both bed sheets and we also never received a change of towels.. but then again we didn't ask, so make sure to ask.
