A wonderful location, particularly during the off-season, which is the only time we come to Italy.

The structure is impeccably clean, and situated in a location convenient to Varenna and Lierna. The parking arrangement is very practical and nicely situated. We enjoyed walking nearly everywhere we wanted to go during our stay in the area. The responsiveness of the host was notable.

Beautiful house with amazing garden and views

It is a beautiful place to stay, right at Lake Como shore, the house was very comfortable with private parking space and nice garden. The rooms were comfortable with two nice bathrooms with little nice details the owner left us. The kitchen was comfortable very well equipped . Easy access to Varenna . I will definitely come back .

Strongly recommended

Very well located, nice parking spot. Spacious house with lovely garden. House has got 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and everything you need for the stay. Very close to Varenna and Bellano. The view is absolutely stunning. The host is very caring and helpful. Travelled with two elderly ladies 73 and 75 years old and they were both very happy with the villa.

the location was amazing and very convenient to Varrena Ferry to visit Bellagio & Menaggio. The garden was beautiful and the house was very comfortable. The host had thought of everything such as spare adapters, coffee pods, food and essentials for your first night.

The property was beautiful and very clean and well maintained. The owner was so thoughtful and had stocked the house with so many essentials that we were most pleasantly surprised. She was also very helpful with information and tips. Self check in was smooth and easy. The best part is the property and location. It was lovely in the mornings and so peaceful....we were lucky that there was a road closure ahead and hence the traffic that other people have mentioned was non-existent, so I really can't comment on any noise....but the property would more than make up for it. Highly recommended. It is not a far walk from the Ferries for sight seeing for the rest of Como....but it might be a bit of a walk if you have luggage (not much, around 10-15 minutes). We had a car, so this was not a problem.

A paradise with private garden and lake access

Perfect spot on the lake, house even better looking in real life than on the pictures. Garden is a paradise and you have direct access to the beach from it. Great location to go to other towns by car or also boat (from Lierna). House was very clean and included some welcome presents and bathroom amenities.

The kitchen working space is small and kitchen equipment missed some essential things. The surroundings can be a bit loud at times, but in the evening it calms down.

It was just what we were looking for. Great house and gardens.

The house is located right on Lake Como, but way outside of the town of Varenna. (You can see the town limits sign from the house.) It has its own gardens, walkways, and entrance down to the Lake. It is gated in and very secure. The views from the large terrace doors and windows are spectacular. The house is comfortably decorated with everything we needed. Loved the bath. If you want to entertain inside, however, the downstairs living area is small/compact. We loved the house. It's perfect if you drive, like being on the water, and want privacy. However, because we do not drive in other countries, and we were not close to any stores, we were at a loss here to get food and supplies, and at the mercy of the limited taxi drivers to come out and get us and to bring us back home from Varenna.

Distance to nearest restaurant or store or town. Walking on the busy roadway outside the house to get to the nearest town, Lierna.

Cosy little villa at the lake shore with stunning views

Situated directly at the lake with a private beach this cosy house offered everything we excpected and actually went beyond! The garden is very nice, the views are overwhelming and the location is gret for starting tours to many places of interest (we like to hike). The nearby Lierna is a nice little town and Varenna is not far at all - perfect. Outstanding communication with the host, really a fantastic experience.

The street is fairly close. We come from a big city (Berlin) and like that we are kind of used to traffic noise, but for someone seeking absolute silence, the house probably cannot be recommended. Look at the map and decide for yourself. It's all about hitting the road quickly in order to go to other fun places vs. hanging out in the garden, enjoying perfect silence. Your choice. We were perfectly happy with the way it is.

The lakeside position is fabulous. It is extremely well presented and like a home away from home. Lots of little gifts were a surprise and we even made use of the cool bag.

Unfortunately, we have no control of the people in large motor boats on the lake. Saturday evening was spoilt by these noisy people just as we were looking forward to a quiet evening.

Relaxing, breath taking and totally enjoyable!

The property location overlooking Lake Como was truly magnificent. It was very clean, however we spent 90% of our time outside. There is a great Supermarket near by for all your food needs.

There was some road noise, but this was inevitable due to the location of the property and it did not spoil the stay at all.

A stunning beautiful villa

The house is excellently located, just next to lake, it is stunning beautiful especially at sunset, it is so beautiful ! You have plenty of spacious with well equipped facilities and a lovely narrow garden as backyard of the properties.

The owner mistaken on our arrival date, it resulted us wait a long time before we can get his attention for the power supply switch issue of the house ! Also, we experience several power failure when we finally get in the house, the power failure repeated even when the owner arrive and tried to settle it. The problem is less irritating when we do switch on two main switch on two main switches as recommended by the owner. However, we still experienced another power failure once in the morning, a bit irritating ! The owner is highly recommended to engage a qualified electrician to fix the electricity circuit of this unit, this properties is so lovely !

Wonderful!

It's the most relaxing place we have stayed at so far in Italy. The lake is at your feet and the view is spectacular. The house is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need. The owners even left us a cake and pasta for dinner.

Prachtige plek

Prachtige locatie, je loopt via een privetoegang gelijk naar het water. Fijne plek om buiten te eten, het uitzicht over het meer is fenomenaal. De tuin is ruim en goedverzorgd. Het huis is overal waar nodig voorzien van horren. De keuken is klein maar compleet, bij aankomst vonden we een delicatessen pakket, en ook in de badkamers was aan alles gedacht. De gastheer was zeer goed bereikbaar en attent (wij hadden problemen met 1 van de toiletten en dit werd vlot en netjes opgelost).

Het huis ligt aan een drukke weg. Dat zorgde voor onrust met voorbij rijdende bussen, auto's en motoren. s'Nachts was het gelukkig beduidend rustiger, maar het was voor ons wel een ongemak. De twee kamers boven worden erg snel erg warm. Er staan ventilatoren, maar er is geen airconditioning. Dit neemt echter niet weg dat wij een heel erg fijne tijd hebben gehad aan het comomeer.

Precies zoals de foto’s laten zien

Het uitzicht over het meer is van alle kanten fantastisch! Je hebt inderdaad het hele huis voor jezelf, er zit nog een uitgestrekte tuin bij waardoor er ook niemand in de buurt zit, je eigen inloop het water in is helemaal te gek. De douche heeft een prima straal, het bed was goed (had eigen kussen mee, doe ik altijd). Er zitten horren voor de meeste deuren en ramen waardoor je aan het einde van de dag goed door kunt luchten. Je zit tegen de weg aan en als je het niet gewend bent kan water behoorlijk wat lawaai maken, maar met de deuren dicht hoor je daar werkelijk niets van. Voldoende ruimte voor de zon maar zeker ook voor schaduw. Er zitten op 300 meter lopen een paar strandtentjes waar je prima pizza, pinsa en pasta kunt halen/eten.

Let er op dat er geen airco is, wel horren waardoor je door kunt luchten maar het koelt pas laat op de avond/nacht af. Ook kon ik geen kussens voor het buiten meubilair vinden …

Tolles, gepflegtes Haus am Comer See 👌

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in La Casetta verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und außerordentlich sauber. Was uns sehr wichtig ist. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die „Empfangskleinigkeiten“ waren super ausgewählt. Die Lage des Hauses ist umwerfend. Wir können das Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
