Al Casolare

Friendliness of host. Location. Clear indication of minor disadvantages

Absence of wifi. Limited parking. But these were clearly described, so we knew what to expect.

There was tea and coffe, with a breakfast table set for us. And a bottle of local rosé. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us around. There were towels too. Very comfortable place. Lovely village. Welcoming host. Great location for walks. Would go back again.

The apartment Al Casolare provides fantastic accommodation for people, especially families, who want to explore Lago di Garda. The apartment is located in the small village of Vilmezzano with a small church near Caprino Veronese (about 5 minutes to Caprino where you can go shopping, lunch, or dinner). We had an apartment for four people which is really big and therefore very comfortable. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. There is no wifi in the apartment (weak mobile signal), but this cannot be considered a disadvantage, rather the opposite. The surroundings are beautiful, the village is in the hills. From the village, a marked path leads to the hills, from where you can see Lago di Garde. The nice town of Garda is about 20 minutes by car from the apartment, where there is a beach and a restaurant for pleasant moments and this place can also be a starting point for exploring other amazing places along Lago di Garda. I really appreciate the hospitality of the owners, namely Davide and his father. Davide gave me a lot of useful information for planning trips and more. Many thanks to both of them. I would like to go back there in the future and spend more wonderful days there.
