Casa Aranjuez

All the staff (Santiago, Luz, Nilson) are so kind and helpful! Check-in was very easy, and they also happily gave my husband and me an extra comforter for our bed because we like to sleep with separate blankets. And speaking of sleeping arrangements, the bed was extremely comfortable with linens that you would find in any highly rated hotel. The courtyard is a nice place to hang out in the evening when the area calms down. The location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We loved our stay!

We loved the proximity to things to do in Candelaria, but it should be noted that the property is at the top of a long hill. If you aren't very mobile this could be a problem. Sometimes at the end of the day it felt like a burden. Additionally, our room faced the street and the first night, the car and motorcycle noise made it tough to rest. We remedied that with earplugs for the rest of the time and that worked!

Everything. All the staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and felt very safe (not that we expected otherwise). It was very quiet, also during the night which is not a given in big cities like Bogotá. A lot of nice places are in walking distance and the neighborhood feels safe.

Excellent accommodation in one of those charming antique buildings of Bogotá historic centre. It is located on the slope of a street, in an area full of restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. The owner responded quickly and was very accommodating with my requests. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Wilson was very attentive and friendly. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable.

The room we stayed in had a shower that was not well sealed, so the floor outside the shower was constantly very wet. We used several towels just to soak up the water. The floor in our room was very old wood slats that made a LOT of noise when you walked across the room. The property is at the top of a very steep road to get down to the shops, square, etc. it was quite a struggle for us as we are retirees.
