The scenery is stunning, and the website photos and visitor reviews reflect this well. The farm is well maintained, the rooms are very clean and beautifully designed, and the facilities are modern and up to date. For anyone seeking peace and a connection with nature—this is the place!
For us, there were several significant drawbacks: 1. We arrived during the heat wave in Europe. The rooms do not have air conditioning. Keep this in mind. Only one room was equipped with a portable fan. We asked for another, and Max directed us to open a window… a solution that really didn’t help. The heat was unbearable, and the morning light from the open window made things even more difficult. We gave the fan to the boys (we were traveling with two teenagers), because their room was like a greenhouse. We had great difficulty sleeping because of the heat. A very significant factor when you’re on vacation…! In our opinion, with a little effort and willingness, and negligible expense, this could have been resolved. 2. If you are visiting the Dolomites for the first time and want to see the iconic “must-see” sites, in our opinion the location is less suitable for that. The farm is at the foothills of the entrance to the Dolomites, and the driving times—which are already long in the area—are considerable. 3. Finally, we have to agree with some of the less positive review (from Ange, 8/2025)—everything is provided efficiently, but we felt less warmth and authenticity, despite having stayed at farm accommodations for 20 years. There is no attempt to go beyond the basics and provide a little extra—there is no possibility of doing laundry at the farm, no kettle in the rooms, and breakfast is precise and fresh (the omelet is indeed excellent), but everything is measured and repeated every morning without variation, and so on. It is difficult to explain, because overall Max makes an effort, but for us the overall experience felt less warm. *We had no contact with Denis. Perhaps, if dinner is ordered, the attitude and feelings are different. In conclusion—a mixed overall experience.

Elhelyezkedés, elképesztő látvány a Dolomitokra.

A szobák kellemes hangulatúak, kényelmes ágyakkal. Elegendő hely a csomagok pakolásához. Reggeli az árban, vacsora a reggelinél kérhető. Megéri, házias, egyedi konyha. Innen csak egy dolog nehéz. Elköszönni.
Olyan nem volt.

The location is utterly beautiful. Rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable. The views from the windows are breathtaking. Velux windows open with a remote controller and close when rain is detected! There was a blanket for cooler nights - we slept very well. The furniture is tasteful - solid wood throughout and the home truly feels well designed. Max welcomed us when we arrived as did Masha the lovely dog.
We realise this review is in sharp contrast to the other reviews, but if you are travelling with children and are looking for a place as a base, knowing you can't plan the weather and so on, this might not be a suitable option. We were a family of 5: 2 adults, 3 teenagers and were hoping to be able to enjoy the terrace playing cards, Risk and so on. But you can't consume your own food on the premises and there is no lunch to buy either. Nor is there a kettle or drink-making facility in the rooms. All you can consume is water from a small glass while on the property between breakfast and dinner. So naturally we didn't stay at the house much at all. This was a shame as the setting is lovely. The loo roll holder, which was stuck on with some sort of double-sided fixing, came off in the kids bathroom, and this caused a fuss from the owner. We apologised for this and offered to leave - as we felt really bad that he assumed it was an intentional act by our kids. I wish the atmosphere was more welcoming - sincerely. Most of the guests were older couples and perhaps this is the perfect guest for this beautiful farmhouse. Something else that we didn't quite understand was that we had identical breakfasts offered for 7 mornings straight. Not a buffet but literally each on a plate, 4 slices of cucumber, 3 slices of tomato, eggs, and two small bowls of watermelon, melon and peach slices. This is vastly different from other agriturismos we've stayed with. We had dinner one night and again - hardly any vegetables. A few slices of tomato each, chicken pieces on the dry side, and roast potato - this was delicious. A soup of perhaps brocolli but we weren't sure. We ate at the local up the road a few times as they offer hearty local food and the atmosphere is lovely too.
