A true welcoming and authentic experience at the mountains from the property, food, experience, view

Max was a great host! Truly the best stay, true authentic hospitality and amazing food and environment. The property is very well maintained and cozy. As well as the property which sits at a beautiful hill with a great view. Max was always helpful in providing suggestions and recommendations for the best places to visit in Dolomites. Super stay in an exquisit place, the owners do make you feel special.

Beautiful accommodation with a sublime view and a spacious outside area. The outside area is nicely furnished and offers a great place for an apperativo. The room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the mountains. The large double bed was very comfortable and really large. The owners were very ice and helpful, we traveled by car, but took a motorcycle to tour the area. The owner was very helpful in suggesting routes to ensure we get the best roads with the least traffic. The breakfast was very nice all freshly made or products from the region. The lady of the house cooked a three course dinner every evening, which was very nice. All in all a place I would recommend. It is up a smaller mountain road instead of in a village, but with every penny.

A true example of how an Agri should be

This gem of an Agri greets you with 360 degree stunning views of the Dolomiti Bellunesi. From the moment you arrive Max and Denise make you feel like family. The property has been expertly renovated while maintaining it's original rural charm and is kept spotless. Breakfast is super, where you get a choice of sweet or savoury but you should try Denis'e cheesy omelette at least once..it's to die for. You can opt to have dinner at the Agri which I highly recommend as you will experience genuine Italian food expertly crafted by Denise who prepares magic in the kitchen. Another highlight are Max's tips on the surroundings....we came for this holiday totally unprepared but Max used to prepare a custom drawn map every single day for us and with his help we managed to see all the highlights the area has to offer. Don't have enough words to thank our hosts. This has been our best stay in years. WIsh you all the best as you deserve it. Thank you from Konrad, Elessa and Matthias.

Sadly disappointed. Not family friendly. No coffee/tea in the room. Identical breakfast for 7 days.

The location is utterly beautiful. Rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable. The views from the windows are breathtaking. Velux windows open with a remote controller and close when rain is detected! There was a blanket for cooler nights - we slept very well. The furniture is tasteful - solid wood throughout and the home truly feels well designed. Max welcomed us when we arrived as did Masha the lovely dog.

We realise this review is in sharp contrast to the other reviews, but if you are travelling with children and are looking for a place as a base, knowing you can't plan the weather and so on, this might not be a suitable option. We were a family of 5: 2 adults, 3 teenagers and were hoping to be able to enjoy the terrace playing cards, Risk and so on. But you can't consume your own food on the premises and there is no lunch to buy either. Nor is there a kettle or drink-making facility in the rooms. All you can consume is water from a small glass while on the property between breakfast and dinner. So naturally we didn't stay at the house much at all. This was a shame as the setting is lovely. The loo roll holder, which was stuck on with some sort of double-sided fixing, came off in the kids bathroom, and this caused a fuss from the owner. We apologised for this and offered to leave - as we felt really bad that he assumed it was an intentional act by our kids. I wish the atmosphere was more welcoming - sincerely. Most of the guests were older couples and perhaps this is the perfect guest for this beautiful farmhouse. Something else that we didn't quite understand was that we had identical breakfasts offered for 7 mornings straight. Not a buffet but literally each on a plate, 4 slices of cucumber, 3 slices of tomato, eggs, and two small bowls of watermelon, melon and peach slices. This is vastly different from other agriturismos we've stayed with. We had dinner one night and again - hardly any vegetables. A few slices of tomato each, chicken pieces on the dry side, and roast potato - this was delicious. A soup of perhaps brocolli but we weren't sure. We ate at the local up the road a few times as they offer hearty local food and the atmosphere is lovely too.

A truly special place

A truly special place to stay. The scenery is stunning with spectacular views of the mountains. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with stylish modern design and all of the comforts you could need. The food is amazing - the breakfast is delicious, fresh and plentiful and you also have the option to have a wonderful 3 course dinner - which we did for all 10 days we stayed as it was just so good! Using the freshest ingredients from the garden Denise cooks delicious Italian home-cooked food with different dishes each evening - every one of them delicious - we have never eaten so well! But aside from the beautiful surroundings, lovely accommodation and wonderful food - what truly sets this place apart is the people (& the wonderful dog Marsha!!). Max and Denise do everything themselves and go out of their way to ensure you have a great time - such as the famous ‘Max’s maps!’ where he will ask how long you want to walk & how high and draw you a handmade map with his recommendations, offering to make us lunch on a rainy day, giving us freshly picked tomatoes and berries to try from the garden and sending us away with cake for our early flight home. We have never stayed somewhere where the owners are so friendly, welcoming and passionate about what they do - we left our holiday feeling like we will miss both the place and the people & really do hope to visit again someday!

A place that feels like you're visiting your aunt and uncle

Amazing agriturismo in the more Italian (less Austrian)-looking part of the Dolomites. Max and Denise are like the Italian aunt and uncle you never knew you had. Every day, Max - who has grown up in the area - asks you what you want to do today. We like hiking, so he also needed to know how long we want to hike, difficulty level etc. So then he disappears for a few minutes to think, and when he comes back, he'll give you a hand-drawn map with routes and suggestions for the day. Not all routes are on AllTrails or tourist maps, so we had the trails to ourselves. Can't praise Denise's food enough. For breakfast, you can choose between either a savoury or sweet meal, with home-grown seasonal fruit, jams, and juice. You'll be asked if you plan to have dinner in the evening, which you absolutely should. It was the highlight of our stay in Italy! You just show up, not knowing what will be served, but rest assured every meal of the three courses is wonderful, and also grown on the farm or sourced locally. Once everyone's served, Denise and Max sit down and eat the same. You're certainly eating authentic Italian home-cooked food. We had the most wonderful time and can't rate this place highly enough.

Perfection

This place is really fantastic, perfectly located for exploring the region, beautifully appointed, grand views of the dolomites, easy parking, and very clean rooms and premises. In particular the hosts Max and Denise are such kind people, and the food is top notch, some of the best dishes I've had in Italy over the years. Great for some day trips into the mountains. Highly recommend, and will be choosing to stay here again if in the same area in the future. Have included some photos of both the premises and some surrounding attractions.

By far one of our favourite stays when touring the Dolomites

Felt like visiting your aunt and uncle. Breakfast was extensive and varied (sweet vs. savoury) and the homemade dinner was amazing. Tips from the host were perfectly suited to our needs. Hosts are very passionate and guided us perfectly for trips in between our next stops. Will come back if again in the area!

Highly recommended for a relaxed and comfortable stay in the mountains

This beautiful, cozy Agriturismo is a wonderful combination of a warm, personal house visit and a clean, equipped, professional hotel. The hosts are the most warm, welcoming and caring people. They welcome you with a smile, tend to all your needs, give you great suggestions and advices about the area, ask you about your day and the food, make you feel at home. The property is beautiful, beautifully decorated, has a majestic panoramic view of the mountains, comfortable, clean rooms, gardens, sit-out porch, dinning area. The breakfast is included in the price and is delicious and wholesome but they also provide dinner at an extra cost and I would highly recommend to go for it, very delicious meals and totally worth it. It is possible to rent bicycles and book it with the hotel prior to your stay. Do take suggestions from them for the cycling routes, hiking routes, wineries in the area, they are very knowledgeable and always happy to share and help. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and will definitely revisit! Grazie mille, Max and Denise, un'abbraccio :)

Beautiful property with great Dolomites views. Max and Denise make you feel very welcome and go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable. Max grows the vegetables and fruits and dries his own specks and salamis. He also recommends drives or self tours for your interests. Denise cooks delicious breakfasts and dinners. Exceptional

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The views from this accommodation are breathtaking. The accommodation and rooms are very spacious, comfortable, cosy and modern. There is a very nice common area with a sun terrace to enjoy the beautiful view even more. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. They made us feel completely at home, cooked the most delicious meals for us and gave us excellent recommendations for daytrips. We enjoyed nice chats and local delicacies as well as homemade food produced on the farm itself. Our one year old daughter had a lot of fun playing with the very friendly dog and visiting the two donkeys and pigs of the farm in their spacious pastures. It was the perfect place for her to run around in a safe environment with the opportunity to interact with animals. This place has everything to ensure a beautiful stay in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere a bit outside the towns on a hill overlooking the valley and mountains, in close proximity to the mountains and different towns, with extremely kind hosts and spectacular views. Parking is very convenient in front of the building and breakfast amazing (dinner even more so!). We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing

A wonderful relax at the end of our holiday. Max and Denise are amazing hosts and make you feel well at home. The room and the surroundings were exceptional. We met all the animals including the beautiful dog Marcia. The food is splendid and served in a wonderful family atmosphere. Max is very proud of his produce and it’s is primo. - What hospitality! We arrived quite late because of the traffic, but the owners offered us a warm welcome & a dinner with wine. It was absolutely delicious and such a nice gesture! - The place itself is stunning with amazing views and fresh mountain air. In the morning it is especially spectacular and peaceful, you would want to instagram it. ;) - Rooms are extra clean, spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is well-equipped. - The room design is light, fresh and rustic with a romantic touch and special attention to small details. A paradise for perfectionists! - You do not want to miss this place, I guarantee you'll enjoy your stay!

Die Herzlichkeit und Hillfsbereitschaft der Besitzer sind außergewöhnlich. Die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll und bietet auch außerhalb des Zimmers mit Aufenthaltsraum und Freisitz zusätzliche Abwechslung. Das Abendessen war immer landestypisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Der Besitzer hatte immer interessante Tourenvorschläge zur Hand .

Siamo stati all'agriturismo La Casa nei Boschi per un week end lungo per festeggiare l'anniversario. Un posto veramente magico! Tranquillo, distante dai rumori della città e un'oasi di pace e di relax. Denise e Max dei padroni di casa perfetti, tengono la struttura immacolata e preparano giornalmente delle prelibatezze sempre differenti con i prodotti dei loro orti. Significativo che Max tenga moltissimo a diffondere il vero approccio corretto al vivere in agriturismo, come si fosse ospiti di amici invece che di passaggio in una struttura ricettiva. La sera chiedono per la mattina successiva cosa si vorrà trovare a colazione, mentre la cena è sempre una sorpresa. Nei giorni che abbiamo pernottato da loro abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare ottime selezioni di formaggi e affettati, pastasciutte sempre di tipo diverso con gustosi sughi differenti e dolci veramente prelibati! Molto utili i consigli di Max sui giri da fare nei paraggi, anche per noi polentoni di città sono sempre risultati piacevoli e che richiedessero la giusta dose di impegno fisico (in modo da gustarsi più tranquillamente le cene abbondanti). Ho avuto modo di scattare bellissime foto e torneremo sicuramente in un altro periodo per gustarci la zona con la natura colorata di tinte differenti. Plus la presenza di una vasca idromassaggio all'aperto e prenotabile anticipatamente per 45-60 minuti, il prezzo è onesto considerando il piacere che porta nel rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata a camminare. Consigliatissimo!

Direi che ci è piaciuto tutto ma se proprio dobbiamo essere puntigliosi a cena ci potrebbe un pelo più di varietà rispetto al mangiare pasta. Magari carne come piatto principale o torte salate.

Een stukje paradijs op aarde.

Vanaf het eerste moment hebben we dit verblijf in onze harten gesloten. Max, Denise en hun lieve hond Marscha, maakte onze vakantie onvergetelijk. Onvergetelijk, als in de ochtend de zon achter de bergen uitkomt, gewoon een sprookje. de contouren van de Dolomieten en de mist die in het dal hangt. Het ontbijt en het avondeten ware voortreffelijk en vers uit eigen tuin, met veel liefde gemaakt. En dan Max zijn beroemde MAX, MAP. Max vraagt eerst wat je graag wil zien, hoogtes die je wil lopen en maakt dan met zijn beroemde map mooie routes. Maar ook bij een stadsbezoek, geeft hij informatie. Denise die iedere dag je kamer perfect schoonhoudt, en voortreffelijk kan koken. Niets is teveel en samen zorgen ze er voor dat je een onvergetelijke tijd hebt. Bij het naar huis gaan waren we even stil, omdat we deze plek en vooral deze lieve mensen zullen gaan missen. We hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen.

L'accueil exceptionnel la gentillesse des hôtes leur envie de faire découvrir la région. La grande beauté du lieu, la grande propreté de la chambre. Tout est pensé pour le confort. Parfait !

Les propriétaires nous ont contactés le jour de notre arrivée afin de nous proposer de manger le soir à l'agritourismo. Durant tout notre séjour, ils ont veillé à nous conseiller des activités selon nos envies. Les repas du soir sont simplement incroyables ! 23 euros pour un menu 3 services préparé avec leurs légumes du jardin et la viande locale. Denise cuisine divinement bien et Max est aux petits soins avec les hôtes. Les petit-déjeuners sont très bons. Big up aux omelettes au fromage ! Ce magnifique endroit avec vue sur les montagnes est parfaitement tenu par Max et Denise. Il est rénové avec goût, trés confortable et propre. Nous y avons passé un superbe séjour marqué par diverses petites attentions. Nous avons également apprécié la séance de jacuzzi avec vue sur les montagnes pour le prix de 40euros/h. Et les soirées au clair de lune sont fantastiques et conviviales. Un énorme merci à cet adorable couple pour leur acceuil chaleureux, leurs diverses attentions et la qualité de leurs services ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter si nous repassons dans le coin 🫶

Charmant et de grand confort.

Nous avons adoré cet hébergement de charme et très soigné. La chambre très confortable avec des espaces extérieurs pour le repos nous a permis de séjourner avec grand plaisir chez Denise et Max qui sont très accueillants. Chaque soir nous dégustions des plats italiens excellents. Le cadre est magnifique et de belles randonnées sont accessibles. A recommander sans hésiter.

Está en en enclave precioso, con amplias vistas al macizo montañoso, y estupendas zonas exteriores para disfrutar del entorno von tranquilidad, solo se oye el sonido de los pájaros y de la naturaleza. La habitación amplia y confortable, el baño grande y moderno, con todo tipo de detalles muy cuidados (slippers, gracias!) Los desayunos y cenas han sido buenísimos, caseros y variados, y lo más importante, la amabilidad y recomendaciones de los propietarios sobre rutas y visitas, ha sido estupendas, En resumen, no se puede pedir más, ha sido una estancia memorable. Recomendable 100%

Todo. Max y su esposa son grandes anfitriones y su casa es preciosa, los cuartos perfectos y todo muy limpio. Todo un paraíso. El desayuno me encantó, uno de los mejores Omelette que me he comido en mi vida. Un lugar espectacular.

Eravamo in cerca di un posto autentico, che ristora, e abbiamo trovato molto più di questo: un luogo che ha il potere di fermare il tempo. La Casa nei Boschi è immersa nel verde, con un panorama mozzafiato sulle montagne. A chi piacciono i suoni e gli spettacoli che la natura offre, questo è il posto ideale. Dal canto degli uccelli, al fruscio delle foglie ad un cielo stellato sotto il quale abbiamo visto le lucciole danzare nel buio: momenti incantevoli, che ci porteremo nel cuore. Denise e Max ti accolgono con un calore raro. Vivono l'agriturismo nel vero senso della parola. Con passione, dedizione, sacrificio e desiderio di condivisione. La cucina di Denise è un viaggio nei sapori veri, quelli del territorio, preparati con amore e ingredienti genuini. E poi c’è Max, che con i suoi consigli ci ha fatto scoprire sentieri e luoghi stupendi e sempre pronto a scambiare due parole col sorriso. Entrambi persone che sanno trasmettere il calore umano, con quell’aria familiare e affettuosa che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Le camere sono pulitissime, arredate con gusto e cura per i dettagli, così come l'intera struttura. È un posto che consigliamo a chi cerca una vera immersione nella natura, autenticità, relax e un’accoglienza che scalda il cuore. Grazie Max e Denise per averci fatto entrare nel vostro mondo!
