It is located in the heart of the fishing village, in front of Fortaleza - Belvedere of Public Interest. The beach extends at a one-step distance. Everything is close. Next to it is a ice cream shops, restaurants, cafes, handicraft shops and sports, where there are multiple offers of activities to enjoy the Algarve's landscapes and climate. Two steps from the Market with the best fish and seafood from our coast, fruits and vegetables from the orchards of Silves - Capital of the Orange. Welcome.
The Fortaleza Mar apartment is located in the heart of the fishing village of Armação de Pêra, in front of the fortress, a fantastic viewpoint classified as a Heritage of Public Interest, which once protected the village from privateers and pirates.
The beach stretches a step across the street. Everything is close, you don't need to use the car. Beside it, a stationery store, ice cream parlors, restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, grocery stores, a butcher, craft shops, sports, clothing, where multiple offers of activities are available to enjoy the landscapes and the mild climate of the Algarve. We are two minutes from the famous Market where the best fish and seafood from our coast and fresh fruits and vegetables are sold directly from the gardens of Silves, well known as the Capital of the Orange.
It is a family vacation spot where several generations know each other because our grandparents already came here on vacation. Welcome to our home and our beach.
The Fortaleza Mar apartment does not have a sea view, but for that reason it provides you with QUIET, HARMONY and TRANQUILITY, even in the peak of summer, in the Center of Armação and a step away from the beach, ensuring you calm nights.
Our apartment is a cozy corner and recently renovated, for our enjoyment and to welcome anyone who wants to visit us. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, also featuring a single sofa bed in the room where there is an LCD TV with 4 channels, wireless internet, dining table and sofa to rest. It has a bathroom and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine and all the necessary utensils for the good preparation of dishes that can be enjoyed in the kitchen, which also has a table and chairs.
These conditions will certainly make this place a pleasant holiday home.

Prima plek .heerlijk dicht bij strand

Our property was as advertised - no surprises here to be worried about at all! The building is right on the Sea Boulevard with a secure entry which we appreciated, and the apartment is on the back side of the first floor. There is no sea view, but the advertisement clearly points this out so we were not expecting one. Felipa was very quick to return messages, and was there to meet us at the front door when we arrived. With her advice we arrived by bus and it was a very manageable 6 minute walk to her apartment. There were two mini markets nearby with extremely reasonable prices on everything including groceries, toiletries, and booze, a Farmacia, souvenir shops, and tons of restaurants with great food. We really enjoyed being in this area of the town, versus the hotel area at the other end of the beach. Regardless of where you stay in Armação de Pera, everything is very close and easy to walk to!
I messaged her on the evening we arrived to ask about beach towels as I couldn’t find any, and by the morning she had some waiting for us outside the front door. We were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Prédio remodelado com apartamento (muito) ultrapassado.
Tentando ser o mais construtivo:
1- Faltam fotos da wc (muito ultrapassada)
2- Refere que tem wi-fi, mas não foi o que verifiquei
3- TV apenas com 4 canais.... (estamos em 2019)
4- Um dos quartos tem duas camas de solteiro, mas falta sitio para colocar os pés (é claustrofóbico)
5. Os sofás da sala 'suplicam' por substituição.
6. As estrelas quanto à limpeza não dizem respeito à falta de limpeza em si mas sim ao estado geral quer de loiças de cozinha quer de wc. Estão de facto muito velhos e não há limpeza que "lhes valha".
Nota-se que é um apartamento para "fazer" dinheiro, mas penso que com algum (pouco) investimento teria facilmente uma classificação geral mais favorável. A localização é, de facto, muito boa.
Éramos 3 adultos e 1 criança, e claramente a indicação de que "dormem 4" não é justa. 4 adultos nesta casa é no minimo desconfortável.
Sugestão: invistam num sofá e itens de cozinha (cadeiras principalmente). Tirem uma das camas de solteiro do quarto e melhorem o que puderem na wc.
O processo de admissão foi simples e isso juntamente com a localização do aptº são os pontos favoráveis, ainda assim, insuficientes para justificar o preço/noite.
