About this house rental
THIS PROPERTY IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT. If you don’t have your own boat, then you will need to arrange for a water taxi from Sandy Pond Marina. It’s on a peninsula of sand, but it might as well be on an island because it is only accessible via boat.
This private beachfront property will become your family’s favorite vacation spot! Three bedrooms (two full beds on main level, queen bed in the owner’s suite) including an unforgettable owners suite on the top floor w/ a patio over looking Lake Ontario - it’s the perfect spot to enjoy every spectacular sunset.
At NO time should there be more than TEN people on/using the property at any one time.
There are two bathrooms w/ showers.
The property is very exclusive & private and can ONLY be accessed via a short boat ride from Sandy Pond Marina. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have a boat during your stay, especially if you have children. However, the owner of Sandy Pond Marina is willing to shuttle people to/from the beach house dock for $10/per person/each way. You may also consider renting a boat from Greene Point Marina.
This is a 40 year old cabin…on the beach. It’s rustic, it’s not the Ritz. Things sometimes break, it can get hot (A-Frame), but every year we try to make it better & better. For example, we replaced ALL of the bedroom furniture & mattresses in 2021, w/ NO road access. However, our upstairs hot water heater struggled all summer, despite my dad (the 85 year old guy who built the place) changing the filament 3x this summer. #Transparency
There is a full kitchen w/ refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, five gallon water bottle cooler (guests should bring 2-3 5 gallon primo bottles for a typical 6-7 day stay) and an oven/stove. There is also a gas grill available for summertime barbecues.
Each night, your family can enjoy a bonfire and S’mores on the beach using the driftwood you collect during the day.
W/ “the COVID” we’re expecting renters would prefer bringing their own linens & towels (we do when we travel these days); however, if you would prefer to use ours, just let the property manager (my dad) know in advance. The kitchen utensils are clean and included. Families should bring their own toiletries, Primo water bottles, insect repellent, & sunscreen.
We will spend most of our summers at this property, but may have a week or two available to rent in June, August, or September.

The house is rustic and cozy- exactly what we want from a beach vacation! The dunes and view can’t be beat.
