Stroll to the regular Saturday morning Harvest Market, where you can enjoy all the finest produce Tasmania has to offer.
Or you can jump in the car and drive to the famous Tamar Valley wine region or the Northern Midland Villages.

This property was perfectly situated for our break, just walking distance to city amenities. The internal decor was charming, with hints of old-worlde charm. The kitchen and bathroom were modernised, and the house was easily heated on cold nights. There were some facets of the home that needed attention: we had some problems with dilapidated door handles (we couldn't enter the home after an outing) and there were plenty of cobwebs in the home (on one occasion my wife woke up with a fright as she fought off a huge spider on her face). Overall, the charm, location and functionality of the property outweighed any negatives.

Gorgeous older property with wonderful views from main rooms and verandah. Beautiful decor. Lots of heating, super comfy bed, fab bathroom with heated floor, small but useful kitchen. The garden was wild and magical with paths and shrubs/trees bursting into spring flower, cliff top views, so much to look at. Only negatives - hard getting in from the street with luggage, and no blinds on all windows except bedroom - a bit cold and caused loss of privacy/excess noise from busy city down below/street above. Overall loved it, v hard to leave!!

Great home and happy to recommend it. The property was clean, warm and comfortable, it had everything you need. The views are spectacular as the place is on top of a hill. You do really need a car for this place. We had a small car and we were able to park on the street without a problem.
