It has been beautifully renovated and boasts a modern kitchen, bathrooms, and more. An ideal home to escape to with family or friends. Enjoy morning coffee looking at the ocean from the vintage swinging loveseat on your veranda or play croquet on the sprawling lawn with family and friends. Just yards away, Short Sands Beach and downtown York Beach Village offers a sandy beach, quaint shops, ice cream, restaurants, entertainment and more--perfect for the young at heart! Looking to adventure beyond Short Sands? We are located less than 1/4 mile from Long Sands Beach, a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and a short bike ride to York Village. One Long Beach Vacation Rental Properties also owns the Sand and Surf which is located next door. In addition, we have five properties located down the street at our One Long Beach address. These include three charming cottages (Goose Rocks, Heron Neck, and Owls Head) as well as the Main House and the Carriage House. Renters must read and acknowledge the Renters Information and Agreement Letter for the property. .

Great home at an amazing location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to comfortably sit our party of six adults. The host was extremely quick with communications. Highly recommend.

Our whole family stayed at this sweet cottage facing the Atlantic and a short walk to Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. With eight of us it was a very full house but everyone was comfortable.
We were there during unusually hot (90 degrees+) temps in June and made much use of window fans on the 2nd floor where three of the bedrooms are and then the two large air conditioners on the first floor . Even though the temps cooled down at night we still could have used an AC on the second floor for sleeping. Otherwise, every other amenity was provided and the kitchen was wonderful.
We all had a great time playing ball on the large front lawn and loved being able to sit in the provided Adirondack chairs at the edge of the ocean out directly in front of the cottage.
Our hosts were delightful and available for any questions or needs we had. Bests hosts we've ever had at a rental.
We have already made plans to return next year!

The property was perfect for us along with adult children. The location was perfect! We loved being able to walk to the beach, town and lighthouse. We had everything we needed. House was very well stocked.
