About this house rental
A classic holiday cottage only 400 metres from the centre of "Jegum Ferieland". The cottage is bright with comfortable furniture and a partly covered terrace. There is a combined living and dining room in open connection with the kitchen. There is a swing in the yard. You can park by the terrace. No letting to youth groups.A refundable deposit might be charged closer to your check-in date. The security deposit ensures a smooth stay and covers any additional services or consumption charges.This deposit covers utilities consumed during your stay and any additional services that may be taken.The final amount will be adjusted based on actual meter readings, actual usage of extra services, and any remaining balance will be refunded within 21 days after checkout.This deposit simply acts as a prepayment for charges that you would anyways pay for, ensuring a seamless stay and check-out experience.

Ich muss leider sagen, dass wir uns direkt nach Ankunft nicht wohl gefühlt haben. Es roch sehr muffig im Haus, auch die Matratzen.
Das gab sich glücklicherweise nach ein paar Tagen, und nachdem wir es uns etwas gemütlich gemacht hatten (z.B. eine Kerze, einen Raumduft ;-) und eine Tischdecke gekauft, denn es gibt nicht mal Sets), wurde es besser. Leider fehlen im Haus so manche Kleinigkeiten (einen Kochlöffel hätte ich schon erwartet, gab es aber nicht, und zwei etwas größere Trinkgläser haben wir auch erstmal gekauft, wir haben sie dann dem Ferienhaus gespendet). Es wirkt etwas lieblos.
Dafür gibt es eine Menge kitschige Sofakissen mit Hundemotiven (wer's mag), und sogar unter dem Klodeckel wird man mit einem Hundebild begrüßt.
Die Highlights waren natürlich der Kaminofen (der leider nicht sauber war) und... die Klimaanlage! Sowas hatte ich noch nie in einem Ferienhaus. Auch die beiden Sessel mit Fußhocker waren sehr bequem, wir haben das (eben leicht kitschig inszenierte) Sofa nur als Ablage genutzt.
Der Fernseher war leider so verkabelt, dass er permanent auf den (Scart-)DVD-Eingang geschaltet blieb. Das änderte sich erst, als ich den Stecker des DVD-Geräts zog. Der Fernsehempfang kommt per Satellit, wird aber analog per SCART an den Bildschirm übertragen (sehr unsauberes Bild). Außerdem waren die Batterien der Fernbedienung leer, man konnte sie aber nur mit Werkzeug öffnen, so dass wir am Receiver selbst umgeschaltet haben.
Unser Laptop konnte aber problemlos an HDMI 1 angeschlossen werden.
WLAN gab es übrigens über einen LTE-Router, den wir bei der Schlüsselübergabe ausgehändigt bekamen. Lief, nachdem wir einen einigermaßen guten Standort (hinter dem Fernseher) gefunden hatten, ganz gut. Streaming haben wir damit aber gar nicht erst probiert.
Alles in allem war es OK, aber ich würde nicht nochmal so weit weg vom Strand buchen. Jeden Tag mehr als 10 km fahren ist unschön.
