Dubrovnik-Cavtat Authentic stone Villa with Indoor pool and sunset terrace

Villa Mima is beautiful, old stone house which has been renovated to a high standard combining old with the new so you can enjoy your holiday in a traditional stone house but still have all the commodities of a modern life. Some things are left unrenewed on purpose, like some wooden vintage furniture, because, they just don't make it like that any more.
Villa spreads over 3 floors which is characteristic for houses in our region.

Villa is located in the center of Cavtat, above, on the hill, giving you the breathtaking view of the Cavtat harbour.
House is surrounded by stone walls which gives you much needed privacy. Stone steps lead to the villa from the Cavtat's promenade.

Upon arriving you are welcomed by wooden doors which open on to a „korta“, traditional courtyard. There, you will find portable Webber BBQ, wooden table for 10 persons and absolute treat, a cave pool. Old water well used for collecting rainwater, carved in stone, repurposed as a piece of paradise just for you.

The first floor comprises high end kitchen with dining room, two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and separate toilet. Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, ice maker, washing machine, pots, pans and cutlery.
Upstairs comprises three bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite bathroom, two double bedrooms and shared bathroom with beautiful, freestanding bathtub.
All bedrooms are air conditioned and equipped with flat screen SAT tv.
French doors on the first floor lead to a second lounge area which is favourite among our guests. You will be awed by the panoramic view of the bay area and the sea. The terrace offers perfect sunsets, its almost surreal.
The third floor is the attic. It is a romantic living room with exposed wooden beams, kitchenette, bathroom, two sofas and a little sitting area by the small window with sea view perfect for your morning coffee.
Wi-fi is available and free of charge.

When staying in Villa Mima you don't need a car because everything you need is within walking distance.
There are fast food stands and pricey restaurants, jewelry shops, souvenir shops, banks, pharmacy, ATMs, little farmers market and ice cream shops.
There are variety of beaches just a short walk away. Concrete, pebble or rocky beach, under the pine trees? The choice is yours.

Location

Villa Residence Mima is located in Cavtat, cultural and administrative center of this region. Airport Dubrovnik is 5.9km away.
Dubrovnik, pearl of Adriatic is 18 km away and the border of Montenegro just 25km away.
Cavtat, antique Epidaurus, is located between Dubrovnik on one side and beautiful Konavle on the other. There can one still feel the spirit of the past and experience the centuries old traditions.
It is ideal holiday resort so you can spend your holiday going in for recreational sports and cultural programmes or leisurely lying on the beach.
When staying at Villa Residence Mima one doesn't need to have a car even though there is a public parking lot 200m from the villa ( charged app 14£ per day during high season ).
Cavtat has excellent public transport. Bus leaves to and from Dubrovnik every half an hour. If you want to avoid traffic I highly recommend boat trips to and from Dubrovnik. Boat leaves every half an hour and it is a beautiful 45min drive free of hustle.
There's taxi stop few hundred meters from the villa.
If you want to explore Konavle valley, on the other hand, I recommend you rent a car. There are many family owned vineries and rural households offering vine tastings and traditional foods.
