Stayed 5 days and every meal exceeded expectation.

All the step e from beach to rooms but there was not much the owners could do about that.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are super helpful and kind, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was phenomenal (very good portions!) If you're someone who can't survive without aircon I wouldn't recommend this stay, but we had fans and found it manageable (it's nice the accom is right on the beach so you can cool down with a dip!) Every time we went snorkeling from the beach we saw turtles!

The water in my bathroom was hit or miss

The location is just incredible. Amazing views of the beach, walk straight down the stairs onto it (be aware the stairs are tough back up to the hotel) for snorkelling in beautiful corals or diving with SO many huge turtles. There’s a bar on the beach which is part of panorama for sunset beers and post dinner music and drinks. The food was generally pretty good, fresh fish some days. As a solo traveller I liked the fact that you were sat with others for meals and could get to know people. The staff were lovely at the hotel, bar and dive resort. Hammocks are set up outside every room to chill. For the cost especially, I would absolutely recommend here, it’s like a little paradise island and I did not want to leave!

Now you absolutely get what you pay for, rooms are extremely basic, any bugs/ lizards etc can easily get in. Doors and windows don’t shut properly but I didn’t lock my door once, it’s very safe. The roofs are tin so things fall on them in the night and it’s very loud. Beds aren’t the comfiest and you don’t get a sheet to put over you, only a very small thing that isn’t big enough for half a person. No hand towel in the bathroom. Shower pressure is TERRIBLE and always cold but I didn’t mind the cold with how hot it was in the room, though it did cool down at night. Honestly none of these things bothered me much as everything else (and the cost) made up for it all, but just things to be aware of.

The backpacks was right on the bead (and up som3 stairs), so it was easy to get to the beach. The dive master and snorkeling tour guide were around every day, so it was easy to ask about these activities and sign up for tours. There are lots of individual rooms and the beds were really comdy.. They helped sith issues straight away.
