Communication with the apartment owners was very good; they responded promptly to all necessary questions. They allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful. We had a small issue in the apartment, which they resolved immediately.

An unpleasant surprise was that after making a non-refundable reservation, I received information that the hosts require a deposit of 100 euros and also have to pay additional electricity. This was very disappointing. The apartment had only one AC in the kitchen, which did not reach the bedrooms where we slept. It was uncomfortably hot at night, and we could not sleep well. Even if I wanted to pay for the electricity for the air conditioning, it wouldn't have helped because the cool air from the kitchen didn't reach the bedrooms. This is a great pity and, in my opinion, a blemish on an otherwise decent accommodation.

Lovely location - Cala Gonone is an excellent base to explore the stunning Golfo di Ortosei area, by car, boat and on foot. Francesca and her brother were helpful and very welcoming hosts from initial booking, providing instructions for arrival, check in and check out. Thank you!
