We had a great stay in Diktamo House. The venue itself is very comfortable, spacious, clean. The hosts are at the same house (different entrance) but you can keep your privacy in 100%. At the same time they are close enough to reach them out if you need any support. We prepared our breakfasts in a well-equipped kitchen, we had them on the wonderful , cozy terrace, made of food products we were buying in a store very nearby (2 min walk). Great restaurants serving delicious food are nearby (5-6 mins) and the beach is ca. 10-12 min away on foot. Definitely this is the place we want to visit again.
All was great! ... oh maybe I only needed a bigger knife for cutting a fresh bread in the morning ;-)

A group of us stayed at Diktamo while in Agia Marina for a wedding and had an amazing stay. We had a late arrival and Vasilis was there to greet us and help with our luggage. They provided homemade honey, wine, eggs from their own hens, and fruit for the morning which was lovely. The house was spotlessly clean with everything you could need, including slippers and toiletries.
Throughout the week they popped by occasionally to drop off fruit from their own trees, and traditional Greek cheese pies. It’s in a great location, close enough that it’s just a short stroll to be town and far enough away that it’s quiet if you want to spend an evening relaxing on the balcony (and admiring the gorgeous views).
It’s one of the most friendly places we’ve ever stayed and we’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us!!
