A beautiful cottage looking out to the ocean. The area was peaceful and the property was the perfect base for a half term get away.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous location, with great views, and close to amazing walks along the SW Coastal path, and lots of interesting places to visit. We walked to Tintagel, St Nectans Glen and to Boscastle. Visited Port Isaac, Padstow and Bude - all within easy reach. Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven real gems - though we were there off season and so relatively quiet.

Not a problem at all - but just to be aware - like much of Cornwall, and what is part of its beauty and charm, is that some of the local roads are narrow, winding and steep! Don't always follow the satnav! The shortest route is not necessarily the easiest!

Nice location, quiet private group of cottages on/near the farm. Lovely view over the hills. Nice arrangement of the accommodation with the living space on the top floor with the views and the bedrooms on the ground floor. Well equipped.

Small hot water tank meant cold shower on occasion, no instructions for how to turn hot water on for a boost. Unable to control heating as Nest system was locked - so stuck with noisy boiler on a timetable we couldn't control in one bedroom and having to turn radiators on and off to get control of the temperature. Tried to contact Sykes cottages to see if we could stay an extra night at the start of our holiday but unable to get through on the phone and website did not allow us to try to extend the dates as it was late notice ( on the day we wanted ). Unable to contact anyone to discuss.
