Great stay in a lovely big house, the perfect setting for a group celebration.

Very spacious, great entertaining rooms and very well stocked kitchen to cater for large groups

2 beds in the top room broke on arrival but we didn’t need them so wasn’t a problem. Some of the rooms could have been a little cleaner but overall good.

A fantastic hiking weekend in a warm country home.

The location was perfect for going on different hiking explorations (as long as you have a car). There is also many shops in the area such as Aldi being only a short drive away, as well as the town of Chapel being close by which had a few pubs and restaurants. The house it's self was charming with a lot of character and a lovely garden area. The facilities were more than adequate for a large group with a top end kitchen. Plenty of bedrooms and space made it a comfortable stay.

Communication from the agents / Owner at the start was not great, it took us an hour after arrival to work out the key box combination. The solution was found only through calling the agents number as provided via email. the code was not sent in advance as advised. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working which was a let down. There's an array of creepy portrait paintings around the house that were quite unsettling. Possibly it is down to taste but they were horrible to look at.

Beautiful, spacious house with everything you could need! Kitchen was well equipped, and the space was perfect for a group get together. Gorgeous setting in the countryside

Small issue getting enough hot water for showers - good communications with the host and this was quickly rectified hence the 10/10 score

Beautiful and quiet location. Stunning and practical interior spanning every room - perfect for a large group of people. All fixtures, fittings and amenities to a high standard. Comfortable beds with high quality pillows.

Very little. If the hot tub was in working order, that would have been the cherry on top.

Exceptional

The house was absolutely stunning! What a location and style of home. Party of 14, 9 adults and 5 children. Ages ranging from 70 to 12 months.. we all enjoyed every moment of our time there. The host called and communicated the codes etc very well and clearly. The home was spacious and so comfortable. We have already looked at staying here again in the future and we would recommend to anyone wanting to find a nice home to call their own in the time they're there. The top floor was amazing as the kids enjoyed having a sleepover for the duration. There was ample towels, bedding, pillows, shampoo, shower gels in each room & bathroom. The decor was stunning. Very stylish and quirky. Each room as its own style. Thank you for allowing us to use this amazing house.
