Relaxing, enjoyable and informative.

We really enjoyed our holiday. The location was superb because everything was in walking distance. To get to the town centre was about a 3 minute walk if that and the same for the harbour. The cottage was well equipped. The photos do not do the cottage justice. There is a newly refurbished bathroom which is lovely and the bedroom furniture in the twin bedroom has been replaced. Simon, the owner, was accessible and very helpful if we needed to ask anything. We will definitely be back soon!

The only area for development would be accessibility for the sight impaired and people with mobility issues. We brought my mother and father with me and they did struggle with the step at the front of the property. The back was fine because they had something to hold onto. We purchased two suction grab handles which meant that mom and dad were able to get in the bath. They both have grab rails in their bathroom at home. The stairs were great because there was a banister on both sides.

Beautiful location close to the sea

Wonderful little house. Well equipped. Thoughtful hosts. Superb location so close to the centre of the village, the sea and the harbour. We enjoyed landing on the Farne Islands and walking to Bamburgh and back along the beach.

The Location was perfect only a few yards from shops and pubs where there was good food at the pubs for eating out. and parking was fine plenty of games and DVDs if you wanted any of those. it was in a quite place.

as there was only two of us it was good for everything plenty of cooking facilities.
