Amazing Heritage House in the Country

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. All the modern conveniences were there in a spacious, period country home. Our two four-year-olds were in and out of the house constantly in search of the (outdoor) cat and when they tired of the chase there were puzzles and games and a piano to play. A boulangerie was just down the block and we visited a couple of nearby markets and beaches as well as an amusement park by the bay. For city kids and moms the freedom was glorious.

This place is lovely. It’s actually a really big house, with a lovely big garden. It’s beautiful inside, full of character. The bedrooms are all big, it’s spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location is great for the surrounding area. A really gorgeous place, even better than it looks in the pictures!

La maison est globalement sympa mais les deux chambres du haut surchauffent en ce début aout et sont difficiles à ventiler et n ont aucun système d occultation de la lumière ce qui est vraiment incompatible avec les grasses matinées. Sur les deux du bas celle donnant sur la route est intenable fenêtre ouverte par les »woufs » de la circulation nocturne. Donc une seule bien pour dormir sur qutre ce qui est insuffisant et explique l appréciation 3/5. Joel

Facile à vivre , bien distribué La partie couchage est séparée de la partie séjour, et cuisine ce qui est très pratique lorsque les occupants n'ont pas le le même rythme. Les 4 chambres sont très confortables même si celles donnants sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes Le gite est équipé parfaitement La cuisinière superbe, le poêle à bois bien utile en automne et le billard très convivial Bref tout nous convenait

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette grande et belle maison très proche de la baie.L'équipement est parfait et rien ne manque. Nous avons pu profiter d'un immense jardin et d'une cour ensoleillée le matin devant la maison.
