Great place to relax for a couple of days, very friendly staff and beds were comfortable.

It was perfect.

Everything was great. Small but clean and comfy room with a good AC. Bathrooms were shared but never with a queue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Staff were very friendly. It was convenient to be able to book a snorkeling tour directly through them. Our guide was also good. One thing to note: if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, it’s better to bring your own food. The meals are ordered from an external provider, so special requests may not accommodated (mine was ordered but came wrong). The hostel has some useful shared facilities, including a water dispenser, fridge, and a simple kitchen with basic equipment like pots, pans, mugs, oil, and spices. All areas have AC. There are also a few high tables and chairs for guests but not many other areas to hang around the premises. Toilets are shared (separate male and female sections), with each cubicle also functioning as a shower. The location is practical, especially for snorkeling trips, and it’s very close to the bus station (about a 3-minute walk) as well as grocery stores.

In terms of improvements, a more structured introduction to the general management of shared spaces could be clearer and help set the right expectations for guests. For example, things like replacing toilet paper, cleaning bathrooms, or setting boundaries (such as keeping cats out of bathrooms) could be handled more consistently. There is no formal cleaning service, and guests are expected to clean up after themselves, similar to the staff, as the space is shared with them. Expectations around house rules, cleanliness, and how things work (including the snorkeling arrangements, as they don’t operate their own boat) could be communicated more clearly, ideally during check-in or before booking.
