Beautiful duplexed cottage built in 2018 . Lower walkout unit. Book your vacation now to enjoy the many activities this 4 season paradise has to offer . Ski at Blue Mountain! Hike or Bike the Bruce Trail . Walk or cycle along the Georgian Trail which extends from Collingwood all the way to Meaford. Caving, climbing and of course shopping! Golf at one of the many beautiful courses in the area, Fish, boat or swim on gorgeous Georgian Bay ! After a day of skiing or summer activities enjoy relaxing around the firepit or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on the sand court . This 2 KING bedrooms, 2 bath unit is beautifully appointed with walk in closets and kitchen pantry! Maximum 4 guests. Heated floors throughout this open concept space. Comfy cozy King size beds with luxurious linens. This cottage is a duplex , this unit being the lower walkout unit . Privacy is not an issue, each unit having separate driveways, entrances as well each having its own patio, verandahs, outdoor seating and Weber Gas Grill. Want two families vacationing together? This is the perfect opportunity. These duplexed units DO NOT have inside access to one another. Close to Hwy 26 ( 2 lane road) with easy access to activities, restaurants, grocery stores, LCBO all within 5 min drive. Back yard has a Regulation sized sand volleyball court installed spring 2018. 2 Kayaks and a few cruiser bicycles for your enjoyment Beautiful storage building to access bikes or store your own bikes in this securely locked space . Children's strollers available for guest use as well as folding Beach chairs,. (guest will require vehicle either a truck or a roof rack to take kayaks 5 min drive to beach) Fire pit with provided firewood surrounded with Muskoka chairs. Relax on your private covered porch. Partake in many local activities including Live Musical/Theatrical events at the Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Center after dining in one of the areas amazing restaurants. Local vineyards offering wine tasting and Charcuterie platters . Thornbury Cidery is a neat stop to sample local ciders . Gorgeous waterfront within a 5 minute drive. Collingwood and Blue Mountain activities 15-20 min drive .

We enjoyed the convenience and location of this property. It felt removed and private yet easy to get to town and nearby areas of interest. Cleanliness, and comforts of home are high priority for us and this Meaford home provided both! While in the area, we took a kayak trip down the Beaver River, drove to Tobermory to see flower pot Island, went on a fishing charter and caught Lake Trout for dinner, biked, hiked, fished the Big Head River, visited Blue Mountain and scenic caves, travelled to Sauble Beach, and got in a few games of beach volleyball at the house! It was fun to explore local fruit and farm stands, enjoy a delicious meal at Ted's, dine at the Leaky Canoe and make and prepare a few meals in the adequately stocked kitchen.

The cottage was meticulously clean and fashionably decorated. The host/owner was gracious, polite, friendly and very easy to speak to and get along with. Communication was excellent and the area and the environment and the people in the community were very accommodating and helpful whenever we needed to navigate our way around the neighbourhood. We cannot find enough superlatives to adequately describe how pleased and satisfied we are with our stay in Meaford. I highly recommending this cottage to anyone who is looking to have a restful, clean, comfortable cottage away from home for themselves and their families.Doug Roach
