About this house rental
Comfortable in Quiet Neighborhood.
The open airy living room features comfortable furnishings, and fantastic floors. It's a bright sunny room with cable HDTV and internet, a DVD player and large selection of DVD's.
The dining table is situated in front of sliding doors which open fully (it's a pocket door) to the pool, providing a tranquil view of the water and tropical plants.
The pool area features a large covered outdoor area with additional dining tables and overhead fans and lights, lounge chairs and gas grill. Sit in the shade or in the sun overlooking a beautiful pool, surrounded by colorful plants both inside and outside the pool cage. The pool is solar heated and surrounded by lush landscaping.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area are open to the living area. There's a bar between the kitchen and dining area with stools for extra seating.
The laundry room with large capacity washer/dryer is off the hall that leads to the master bedroom.
The master bedroom has a king bed, large closet, two dressers, and a desk. The en suite bathroom has a large tiled shower.
There are two additional bedrooms each having a queen bed, large closet, and triple dresser and mirror. These bedrooms share a full bath.
This is an outstanding vacation experience filled with comfort, privacy, convenience and visual beauty in a quiet neighborhood.
Public beaches are a short drive or a beautiful bike ride along the intercoastal waterway.
Nearby Shamrock Park and Nature Center offers a 80 acre preserve, tennis courts and is the starting point for miles of biking and walking along the intercostal waterway.
Visit beautiful downtown Venice Island. Stroll the palm tree lined streets where you'll find unique shops and dining.
Sarasota is 25 min away, Tampa 1.5 hours and Orlando about 2 hours.

Visited mid June 2026. I love talking with the host, Kathleen. She really wants her guests to have the best experience. She responds quickly. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks. I chose this property 1) low enough price that I could afford to stay the length of time I desired 2) the PRIVACY of the pool right outside the door of the house. There are some maintenance updates that could help it to feel more like a vacation instead of a well lived home, but I am a person who is nit-picky and we do a lot of remodeling in our family and they are not deal-breakers. We slept in the master bedroom. My husband didn't have an issue sleeping but I was unable to find the mattress comfortable due to sagging in the center, like most king mattresses tend to do. I'm a edge sleeper so that made it difficult for me. We also chose to use the main bathroom vs the master since the floor is not level and we are not as sure-footed as we used to be. I spent about 4 hours each day in the pool and relished every minute of it. All my neck and upper back pain was gone when I got back home. Pool water was quite warm due to the weather temps being in the 100's, it was PERFECT for me. The pool is well maintained and I truly felt I had privacy while in it. I know the neighbors knew I was there though when I was singing my music. Lol. Sorry neighbors! But I was so relaxed. The property hosts some old, beautiful vegetation and trees. The neighborhood is lovely and friendly. Thank you Kathleen

The property is well maintained and had everything we could need! The pool was really nice to be able to relax around in the evenings and when staying in from going out to eat. Our three daughters(ages: 3 and twin - 1 year olds) really enjoyed the pool and toys/noodles available. It is a short 8-10 minute drive to the beach. We always park next to “Sharky’s on the Pier” and access the beach through there. It is also a great place to grabs drinks and lunch on the beach.
