The availability of refreshments 24/7 was superb - ice cold water, soda's, tea, coffee. All adding to a very pleasurable stay. Lee giving us a guided tour of the property was so kind and immensely interesting. So much history and so much to take in.
Having to walk in to the basement (where the rooms are) past all the decorating tins of paint etc, DIY debris was a little off putting. When we walked into the coffee shop where you go for breakfast the first thing that was shouted at us, before we had even sat down was "you get one cup of coffee, and one thing off the menu, anything else you have to pay extra for!" A little rude.
