Lindos Heart Apartments

Location

We really liked the location and the authentic feel of the property. enjoyed the 2 terraces with view to the town and Acropolis. The property itself was really clean, tidy and included most of the things that are expected and needed during the stay. There were also complimentary water bottles and few fruits. there was a cleaning lady visiting the apartment several times during our stay. The apartment feels like right in the middle of the old town but it is really close to the parking area so walk with the luggage was not too long.

The kitchen is not equiped for making big meals e.g. there is no proper sized cutting board and knife that can actually cut. Also a larger salad bowl was something we couldn't find but overall kitchen was very well equiped with dishes, pots, pans, toster, coffee machine etc. it's not that we didn't like but it was unexpected to return to the apartment and see that there has been a cleaning lady in the apartment. it would have been nice to have a heads-up about it or maybe there had been some information previously but we hadn't seen it. Another thing - it is really hard to orientate in Lindos. We did struggle to find the apartment location every day but it was more of a fun event for us. by the last day of our stay we had learnt our way there. Some of the days we were woken up by the church bells followed with the church-singing. earliest it was around 7am I think. In the evening there was music coming from the Lindos "night-life" district which is not very far. on the good side - the apartment has very proper doors and windows so if to keep them closed, it is nice and quiet inside. The tap water in the town has salty taste so for drinking and cooking we used store-bought water. Closest little store was just about 50m from the apartment and larger one about 5 min drive.
