Vis is lovely to visit.

The location was a few minutes walk from the ferry and the bed was comfortable. The room was very small with limited luggage and hanging space. The facilities were minimal. The light hung so low we bumped into it. The room has one window which was one meter from the barriers into the town of Vis town for cars. So quite noisy meaning you chose to close the window for privacy. You could hear other guests come and go easily.

Good place for a short visit

Bed was big, clean and comfortable. Location is great in the beginning of the walking zone and very close to harbour, busses and shops. Place has generally give or take everything that one needs. Price is significantly lower than other available accommodations at that time. AC in the room helps to cool down quickly on hot summer days.

Facilities (besides bed), are cheap, partially falling apart (cupboards, wardrobe), bath shower head dispenses water but it’s far away from what it should be. Walls are thin and windows don’t offer good sound isolation so it’s noisy - people out on the street, music from the nearby cafe, trucks, cars, motorcycles and of course the neighbours when they turn on the water or flush - it all feels right next to you. Bathroom spaces between tiles show colors implicating biological presence. Bathroom smells like drainage unless constantly ventilated. Lastly - internet is not very stable - sometimes glitches and it’s not there shortly or is very slow, other times works normally, so I guess one can say it was moody.

The apartment was very clean, aircon functioned well, bed was comfortable.

The plantation shutters on the window didnt close properly so people walking past could see inside.

moisture, no balcony, small window, no fresh air

Location

The place has moisture, which is not good. No balcony - all our towels were always wet. It was no change for towels for 4 days. Very small window, no fresh air, feels like in a cave. And in the kitchen was no oil, salt, pepper. The host could provide it. We had to buy everything and we left it there.

Superb and economical base for Vis.

Incredible value in what is not a cheap town, the location is also brilliant if travelling on foot. Super close to the ferry and right in the action for the town centre. Olgica is a fantastic hostess - friendly and helpful both before our trip (correspondence) and on arrival.

No view and noisy area so you tend to shut the shutters and go with the A/c. But the price would double with a balcony - great value as stated.
