About this apartment rental
We have a welcoming second floor, corner, one bedroom 723 sq ft condominium, at the Kihei Kai Nani complex across the street from a beautiful beach, Kamaole II, in Kihei (200 meters to sand). This is condo 252 in building 7 which faces the garden, which makes it private and quiet. Additionally, it is a corner unit and therefore has two extra windows, one in the dining area and another in the bedroom, letting in more light and a wonderful cross-breeze.
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, with stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (some coffee, filters, creamer and sugar are provided), toaster, pots/pans, dishes and cutlery. It has a queen size sleeper sofa (ideal for children or small adults). A walk out lanai with seating. A bedroom with a King size bed (new mattress in 2025), newer remodeled bathroom shower stall with hand held and overhead shower, 55" Smart TV/Radio in the Living room as well as a TV in the bedroom. Both TV's have Cable and the 55" can stream your channel subscriptions (e.g. Netflix etc.). There is a workstation (desk / printer) and free high speed wireless internet and an assortment of beach equipment for guest use (beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkels/masks/fins, noodles). The condo has split system Air Conditioning which has a separate register in the bedroom and another in the living area (the system is on a 6 hour timer). All linens (bed sheets/blankets, beach and bath towels, kitchen towels) are provided. An outdoor BBQ is feet way from the Lanai. Starter amounts of toiletries are made available for each guest.
Kihei Kai Nani Complex Information: Kihei Kai Nani boasts a large beautiful freshwater pool, a shuffleboard court, and a very well equipped laundry facility. The complex is located adjacent to a number of shops and restaurants, making it possible to stay here without the need for a rental car. The Maui bus stops by on S. Kihei road, just outside the complex, for non-walking distance outings. The staff at Kihei Kai Nani is helpful and will assist with informational needs.
Each unit is allowed 1 vehicle free parking in the parking lot. Parking lot has security staff monitoring the complex. Quiet time is enforced by security staff and runs from 10 pm thru 7 am.
South Kihei Area: Kihei is known for its reliably sunny weather with average annual rainfall of 4 - 10 inches annually. It is also known for several of the best of Maui's beaches, including Kamaole, Makena, Ulua, Mokapu and Polo. All beaches' shorelines in Maui are accessible to the public, even the ones where hotels are located have public access to their beaches. Further, one can walk or jog from Kamaole II beach all the way down to South Wailea beaches.
Several outstanding golf courses are available within a few miles, including some of the most famous in Wailea.

The beach was just across the street. Food and shopping near by was great. The complex was quiet and clean room. Had a great time, next in Maui will have to stay again. It was perfect!

Have stayed in many Kihei Kai Nani condos and condos elsewhere. This was the best equipped condo I have ever been in. It had EVERYTHING one might need or want. It was clean, comfortable, great on-site owners in case there is an issue, great location. Highly, highly recommend this condo!

Great condo: quiet, set back away from the street (so we couldn’t hear street noise), but the complex is right across the street from a wonderful beach. The condo has everything, and is relaxed and spacious with good air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Very responsive and friendly hosts. So close to stores, beaches, restaurants, everything. This is a GREAT place, a great value, and exceeded our expectations. We recommend it! Thank you!!

I was very disappointed with the fact that the bed I was going to sleep in on my first night was not clean. It was specially concerning due to the fact that we are dealing with a pandemic and cleansing should be a priority for all. The location was great and after the property manager came to address our concerns, my wife and I where able to relax and enjoy our stay. The place is outdated and needs updating, perhaps that is a personal preference but I feel I need to be transparent and honest in the feedback I provided.
