The apartment itself was great. We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much.
My wife and I worked in the hotel/lodge/rental business for a few years, that being said we have both cleaned our fair share of rooms.
With that preface, I have to say that I have no idea why we were charged a cleaning fee for this unit. There was hair in the shower. There were no trash bags in trash cans. The bed was unmade and I had to do multiple loads of laundry to accommodate the checkout procedure as there was still a wet load in the washer when we got there including our bedding and someone's underwear. What am I paying for you to clean if I'm doing everything for you. Nothing more relaxing than getting to your unit and then having to do the laundry and make your bed before relaxing. It was rather frustrating. It also makes you wonder if the unit was even cleaned before our stay.
