A wonderfully comfortable and historic lodge, full of character and charm. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped, making it a great base for exploring the area.
We particularly enjoyed spending an evening in the hotel bar, chatting with some of the local farmers and getting a real feel for the community and the area. The food was excellent too, whether you choose to eat casually in the bar or opt for the more formal restaurant.
The location is also hard to beat — just a three-minute drive from the spectacular Augrabies Falls.
A great place to stay, with plenty of character, friendly hospitality, good food and an unbeatable location for visiting the falls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The room and view were good. Clean, comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast took over half an hour and came on cold plates
