About this house rental
The Cotton Patch is a large family home that is only steps away to the beach in Cherry Grove. This house is perfect for blended family vacations since there are kitchens and living areas on both levels. This comfortable home has a private pool with plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors. There also is an outdoor shower located next to garage which is perfect to use when coming back from the beach to wash off all the sand. The owner's have provided a grill, you'll just need to bring the charcoal! There are full kitchens on each level so you can enjoy family meals or quick snacks. There are also living areas on each level so your family can relax in the evening watching their favorite shows on one of the many flat screen TVs in the house.
Each level has a queen bed in the primary suite and it has been updated with fresh paint. There is a double in the 2nd bedroom and a queen and a twin in the 3rd bedroom. There are new ceiling fans in all the bedrooms too! There are TVs in most of the bedrooms. There is a bathroom in each of the primary suites and a hall bathroom on each floor as well as a half bathroom under the house by the pool. All of the full bathrooms have also been updated with new flooring, new mirrors and new commodes. The kitchens are fully stocked and has everything you need to do some good southern cooking. They have also added a new Refrigerator and microwave on the 2nd level.
This home is right down the street from the beach in Cherry Grove and is walking distance to Boulineau's and many other restaurants. The Cherry Grove Pier is nearby if you enjoy fishing or just taking walks on the beach. If you would like to rent a golf cart or bring one to use, let us know and we can give you some information on renting. The house will accept a small dog up to 30 lbs. with a $200.00 non-refundable pet fee.
NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE POOL!! THIS PROPERTY IS NOT MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY AND SMOKING IS ALLOWED ONLY OUTSIDE.
There is plenty of parking in the driveway for up to 6 vehicles.

Great house neat and clean. Close to the beach and grocery store. Great pool area for adults and kids. Fantastic outdoor space on ground floor with a bathroom. Would stay here again.

First off, it was very clean which is always a must. Very happy about that . We also absolutely loved the location. However, We arrived Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning three of us couples went straight to WalMart for mattress toppers. The house could really use some new and bigger beds. The garage disposal did not work in the upstairs kitchen. The pool and pool are is beautiful. However the outside bathroom was not at all what we expected. A little run down and the light did not work. This house just needs a little TLC and it would be perfect. That all being said... we did have a wonderful week at The Cotton Patch and we thank you for that.

The location of this property was great! The beach and grocery store are within a 3 minute walk. The pool was bigger than it looked online and clean. It was also cleaned 2 times during the week. The house needs updating. All the furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The beds are terrible. We have stayed in many rental homes and they are never good, but these were the worst yet. The main doors to the house are rusted at the bottom. The metal has holes in it and sticks out. The 5th full bathroom located outside did not have a working shower. If you have 16 people in a house a 5th shower makes things alot better. The toilet worked but shower didn't and was full of chairs. When the house was booked website didn't mention it not working. Overall had a great vacation. Rental company was helpful when booking and with any questions. We love Cherry Grove and the location of this house, but for the money to stay there the house could have been better.

Property was clean overall and plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles. Some furnishings (inside and on outside decks) and kitchen appliances outdated and not in best shape but usable. Charcoal grill was very small for large group. Trash cans overfilled when we arrived. Two Wasp nests on one porch. We had to buy bug spray to get rid of them.
