I stayed in this apartment with a friend during our summer internships in Manhattan, and it was a great experience. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly—when we needed a new microwave and had an issue with the AC, both were resolved within a day. The location is fantastic, with a Target across the street and Whole Foods just down the block, making it easy to cook at home. While the lighting inside is a bit dim, it's not a big deal if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city, and the quiet surroundings and proximity to South Cove are definite pluses.
