First time to split with my family of 4. I really thought it was IBIS Hotel - the hotel chain - apartment hotel. So I probably looked disappointed when I arrived ! But essentially it was a good base for our 2 night stay in Split. Location is out of the old town so it’s where locals live. In an apartment block with a supermarket downstairs. The beach looks like a building site at first but once your in the water it’s actually all pretty nice . The only restaurant near seems to be the decent pizzeria across the road. 8/10 euro Uber to old town ferry port etc no problem and to be honest as amazing as Split old town is , it was nice to get back to our little apartment and out the crowd. It had everything you need , kitchen etc , 2 rooms one with a bunk bed the other a double bed. A balcony. A great big TV . Great communication with the host. Even a bottle of chilled fizzy wine for our arrival !

Maybe I’m stupid but I really thought it was an IBIS hotel ! It’s a great little apartment but don’t expect immediate ‘holiday vibes ‘!
