We had a lovely time. The cottage is perfect for two of us, the bed very comfy, well stocked kitchen and a lovely outdoor table where we could host friends. The setting of the cottage is a property with beautiful flowers and redwoods! The location is very convenient both to downtown Menlo Park and San Hill Road and Stanford. The owners are great- helpful, friendly and fun!

This property is quaint. The cottage itself, clean. The location to Palo Alto is not within walking distance. A good thing to be noted is that parking available on the street and not in driveway. The TV was inoperable. The bed, I believe to be a Murphy bed, was among the worst I’ve ever slept in. I suggested that we put the mattress on the floor. In the morning, my husband's mattress side of the bed was just about on the floor. I really don’t think the bed is safe to sleep on during the night especially if one gets up and down in the dark. I suffered a bruise on my shin trying to climb on board during the night. It seems quite comical, but I wouldn’t sleep here again!
