For the economical price: I was happy.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

The smell in the room from the cleaning products was very overwhelming and unpleasant. We had to leave the room, and even open the window for awhile when we returned an hour later. It was probably cleaned that day so the smell was strong. The windows must be thin. We were in the back and the noise from the two cross streets was LOUD ALL NIGHT.

Okay when in need....

The location was great for us

Facility was a little run down, had Couldn't get ice from the machine. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, making the ceramic tile on the floor was extremely slippery all the time. There were dishes for eating, and spoons but no forks at all.

Don't stay here.

The location is the best part. It is literally across the street from Knotts Berry Farm and is walkable. That's about the best that I can write. The rest is downhill from there. The staff was nice but the room was a bit of a joke. It was very run down and really shouldn't be in operation at all. First off, upon entering the rom, we noticed a giant gray/black marking on one of the pillows. It was a dirty footprint! it was dirt and it literally brushed right off. Who had stepped on the pillow? the cleaning crew? The room was run down and a bit smelly and moldy. The bathroom was no better. I know i will never be staying here again.

EVERYTHING. The bathroom. The bedding. The bed. The lights. The for was unsafe. The railing was loose walking upstairs. There was no parking. The amenities were almost non existent.

Floor was dirty and room could have been cleaner. Out socks were made black from the dirty floor and hair was all over the bathroom. The pool was not as clean as last year and the water did not seem heated. Checked and no heat was coming out of the pool vent. Pillows and bed were rock hard.

Awful

We didn’t stay there, we walked in the room and walked out. There were howls and rips all over the place. It smelled and looked like bed bugs in the bed. We left after a few mins and they said they we refund us but called the next morning when the manger came in for the refund. We did but he hung up on us and was so rude. Do not stay here! We saw some drug deal going on when we walked back to the office in the parking lot

The smell of cleaning chemicals was so strong that we had to leave the door open to try and air it out. By the morning, I had a splitting headache, I think due to the smell of the room.

Just want to start out by sharing our experience at the Best Inn & Suites. We had a wonderful birthday celebration weekend! All thanks to the wonderful staffs at the Inn! Not only they accommodated our request, offer exceptional services, excellent location, 8 minutes walk to Knotts and short distance to nearby attractions. The place was cleaned and great comfortable stayed. Will definitely stay again.

great location and service, and a good bang for your buck if you're ok with somewhat rundown rooms

the service here was good, and they held our bags after checkout for the whole day so we could visit knotts berry farm. there was cutlery, a mini fridge and a microwave in the room so you could have leftovers too. location was good, and parking was free. the guy who checked us in gave us a room with good wifi cause we said we'd need one! and the room was quite a decent size for the price.

as expected of a motel, the place wasn't necessarily the nicest. pillows were rather lumpy and the sheets had some old stains on them. the bathroom was old and didn't seem that clean.

Nice Stay

Staff were helpful and friendly - allowed me an early check in and a slightly later check out. Room was clean and had everything you need (microwave, fridge, AC). Pool was nice. Accessible by bus and can walk to major shops and restaurants (30 mins). Perfect if you are going to Knotts Berry Farm. They allow the $100 security deposit in cash, so you don't have to wait 4 weeks to get it back into you bank. Would definitely stay again.

Name is confusing - it is now called Best Host and Uber took me to the wrong hotel....hence another trip. Not a lot of room for a suitcase (in the room I was in - I had to use the desk).

Excellent value!

The location was perfect for spending a day at Knotts Berry Farm. It was just a short walk away. There was not additional fee to park our car at the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of toiletries and towels. The staff at the front desk and cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price for the room was very reasonable for the location.

Comfortable stay

Second time staying at this location and I would say it’s worth it, it felt safe and it was perfect distance from Knotts. This hotel was a tad bit tinier than our last room we had in the past but was still a comfortable stay for ours Knotts trip.

The AC wasn’t working properly but it was due to a lot of dirt in the filter, hopefully they can clean that out for all hotel rooms. This hotel room wasn’t very spacious. If you’re a light sleeper, I highly recommend requesting the top floor. I never had any issues sleeping on the top floor, but when I had the bottom floor, I couldn’t sleep after hearing every single footstep. This was only something that bugged me since I’m an extremely light sleeper.

Hotel is convenient to amusement park, but my experience with morning attendant was disappointing

Property was walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm

The sign read newly remodeled rooms. The room we walked into was not remodeled. Room smelled musty, inside of door the door was dirty including footprints, bathroom caulking between tub and tile was peeling and areas moldy, shower curtain was yellowish with what seemed like a cigarette burn hole. The sheets on beds had brown old stains. The air conditioner was very dirty the control panel had crusty buildup from never being wiped down and there was a dish rack on a counter with plates and a plastic silverware holder with one spoon in it not sure what the purpose of that was. We arrived from a 6 hour drive at 2:00am and night attendant asked for $100 cash or card deposit I opted for cash as I thought if it being a convenience to receive my deposit upon departure not 72 hours later, big mistake. When I went to return room key and check out the day attendant said they had to check room in order to receive my deposit, he shortly showes me a picture from his cell phone of a red stain which he said we left a blood stain, I disputed as none of us bled on the bedding, then he goes back to an office and comes back and accused me of having colored our hair in the room and that all the pillows were stained, which again was not at all correct! My daughter had her hair colored 3 weeks prior with a temporary color and that leaves minimal hint of color on clothes and pillowcases and washes off if hotel washes with bleach. He then went on to tell me Don’t do that again, as if I had any intentions of returning and being treated in this condescending manner for opting to pay $100 cash deposit. As of 6/21/2015 room 219 was most definitely not a newly remodeled room.
