The Shoal Apartments, Unit 202/4-8 Bullecourt Street

Beautiful appartment, clean & good location.

The only thing that I could fault is the airconditioners make a constant dripping sound when on which makes it a bit difficult to sleep.

Apartment was a lot more spacious than we thought, from the photos. Very large balcony, Very well equipped. Beds were all made up!! to our surprise which was great! after travelling. (unsure if they would be from reading other reviews) and extra linen for the sofa bed. (we did book for 4 adults and one child), Excellent proximity to the beach, cafes, IGA, bars, cannot fault that. Great to have washer & dryer, we used and washed our towels as stayed for 3 nights. Very handy. Includes carpark. Nice and quiet - given it looks out to the back of the building.

Minimal amenities, ie no soap, dish washing tablets (we bought some and left them), some of the glasses weren't clean, and only 4 towels, for 5 people. Overall minor things.

Property was great , as the host had everything you could possibly need + more . Cosy & comfortable in every aspect & nicely laid out .

Ok this is minor - but no bottle opener , but there was one attached to scissors . Can be a little dangerous. The mattress’s were a little soft & to be honest both rooms are huge - could go queen rather than double & slightly firmer mattress’s. It comfy enough

Location, size of unit, access via lift

We were two families, and were only able to get 1 set of keys which made accessing the unit tricky at times. Our main point of discomfort was the continual gurgling from the air conditioning which made a good nights sleep impossible. Both families were impacted.
