About this house rental
Casa Escondida (hidden house) was our home for close to a decade and today we love sharing it with surf families and adventurers from around the globe. It has all the amenities of a functional family home in a lush garden setting with peekaboo views of the surf at Zippers. The house is three stories with a master suite on the top floor. Laying in bed under the cover of a traditionally built Mexican Palapa Roof you will enjoy amazing views of the Sea of Cortez and the surrounding mountains. On the middle floor there is a comfy patio with a propane BBQ and seating that is perfect for evening cocktails. A beautifully remodeled kitchen, adequately sized dinning room, festively decorated half bath and a spacious living room are located on the middle floor as well. On the bottom level you will find our laundry room, two more bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom and a large great room. In total there are three bedrooms with beds for 6 but there is plenty of room to use our air mattresses for the little ones if you need more sleeping space. We also have a pack-n-play for a toddler. The yard is fenced and lushly landscaped with Coco Palms, Date Palms, Mango Trees and Mexican Fan Palms. The outdoor shower is a perfect way to finish off a morning surf and the "Cuatro De Las Tables" is right around the corner to store your boards out of the intense Cabo sun.

We enjoyed our stay on Gringo Hill. We were assured it was a safe neighborhood and never saw anything to the contrary. Mauricio is an excellent property manager and was readily available to answer any questions. As another reviewer wrote, there are a lot of barking dogs in the neighborhood and you can def hear them throughout the night. White noise helps.
Overall a great stay, excellent location, and easy communication. Thansk!

We loved this house. The location was perfectly situated between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. It was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze. Great communication from both owners and property manager. We would definitely stay again.

A +++ This home really feels like a home! It was very well equipped with everything (and more) needed for a short or long term stay. The home was super clean and the layout worked perfectly for our family. The only negatives were some dog barking/howling in the neighborhood and mild traffic noise which we might never had noticed if we hadn’t opened the windows at night to enjoy the beautiful weather. The property is up a dirt road with potholes but it felt very safe and the view of the ocean and neighborhood made the bumps worth it. I loved our stay and would most definitely return!
