About this villa rental
Built on a plot of 2ha with olive trees, truffle oaks, almond trees and even a field of lavender, Maison Chloé offers a magical place to spend your holidays in luxury. A private flowered driveway takes you to the back of the villa where you will find a shelter for two cars, parking spaces for visitors and a pétanque court set in the woods behind. A small wrought iron gate allows you to enter the enclosed part of the garden which includes a French garden with fountain, a heated swimming pool of 12 meters over 4 meters, a large part lawn with olive trees and lavender field and the villa with its many terraces (partly covered) in Burgundy stones. The whole is south-facing and offers breathtaking views of 270 degrees as well as unforgettable sunsets, gas BBQ Weber and upscale garden furniture. Inside there is a beautiful entrance hall with cupboard, right side a beautiful living room with fireplace, high speed WiFi (fiberoptic network) and digital TV. Left side a dining room with fully equipped kitchen has central island (dishwasher, fridge and induction oven Gaggenau, Nespresso coffee machine, wine fridge), as well as a scullery with micro wave, washing machine and drier. This room gives access by large glass bayes to a covered terrace of 8 meters over 4 meters. Upstairs there are three spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom with dressing room, shower room and adjoining bathroom. Beds type "boxspring" guarantee a good sleep. Each room offers breathtaking views of the valley.
In absolute calm, but not far from the village which offers any amenity, Maison Chloe is on the magnificent plateau of Claparèdes in Bonnieux. This plateau full of fields of lavender, cherry orchards and almond trees, is a place protected and sought after by hikers and attractive landscapes. It will allow you to discover not only the most beautiful villages of France in the Luberon valley north side (Gordes, Menerbes, Roussillon, etc ...), but also offers easy access to the villages and landscapes of the Luberon valley south side (Lourmarin, Cucuron, Ansuis, etc ...). For a day by the sea, the beautiful calanques de Cassis are only a good hour driving away.

The house is fabulous, beautifully decorated in Provence style with a very attractive garden and pool. The views of the surrounding countryside were wonderful and the location just outside Bonnieux was quiet and peaceful. Every luxury you could expect and more was provided; the quality of the bedding, towels, shampoos etc was excellent. Gisele met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know and returned after a week to clean and change the bedding and towels. Tom de Backer, the owner, was very swift to reply to any communication and clearly demonstrated his commitment to us having the best possible stay. There were lots of books on the area in the house and he provided us with good tips on restaurants and things to do in his welcome letter. Bonnieux is a delightful typical Luberon village with a small supermarket, restaurants and a bakery. Nearby is the useful town of Apt which has a Leclerc and Auchan supermarket as well as a superb market on Saturdays. Also near by are the attractive towns of Roussillon,Gordes, Lacoste, Menerbes,Oppede(a fun brocante market) and Coustellet (Sunday farmers market). We also had an enjoyable day in Aix, a short drive away. We had a fantastic and relaxing holiday.

Beautifully appointed house in quiet, secluded location just outside Bonnieux. Lovely garden with its own lavender field, pristine terrace, gardens and pool. Photos do not do the house justice! Ideal location for touring the villages of the Luberon. Tom was the perfect host, providing lots of recommendations which helped us to really enjoy a fantastic holiday.

When I first saw the property description I immediately knew this place was special and the home I wanted our family to stay in this summer so we booked straight away. Tom was fantastic and communicated straight away and throughout our stay when we had any questions. Super personal and helpful with quick replies.
The property itself is just like the photos, extremely clean, luxurious and a home from home with everything you could need set in the most beautiful landscape.
Bonnieux itself is stunning, small but has everything you need to access in a 10 min car run and surrounded but stunning restaurants.
We’d definitely like to come back and stay again.
