A Home Away from Home – Unforgettable Stay by the Beach
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests, but as family. The host—a truly remarkable lady (Lady Branka)—radiates kindness, warmth, and genuine care. She’s not just helpful and friendly; she has a nurturing spirit that makes you feel like you’re being looked after by a loving mother. Her attention to detail, her thoughtful gestures, and her ever-present smile made our stay feel incredibly special.
The apartment itself is a gem. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully arranged, it offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s just a short stroll to the beach ….One of its most special features is the stunning sea view, which adds a serene charm whether you're sipping coffee on the balcony or unwinding after a day of exploring, making the space feel truly peaceful and inviting.
And the neighborhood? Absolutely charming. A bakery is just around the corner, perfect for grabbing fresh pastries to start your day. Directly opposite the apartment, there’s a cozy restaurant and a welcoming coffee shop (kafić), making it easy to enjoy delicious meals or relax with a cup of coffee without ever needing to venture far. The restaurant is run by the same lovely family. They also offer freshly smoked lamb and pork meat, rich in flavor and prepared with traditional care. Every bite reflects the family's passion for good food and warm hospitality. Lady Branka makes also the best pizza we've ever tasted. Fresh, flavorful, and crafted with love, she's a true pizza master whose creations alone are worth the trip. So whenever you're there, make sure to ask for the pizza—you won't regret it! 😋
PS: They also have another apartment just 60 meters from the beach, complete with a private parking space.

Lägenheten har allt du behöver och var väldigt ren och städad. Köket är välutrustad och från den rymliga terrassen intog vi vår frukost med fantastisk havsutsikt. Vi hade tillgång till täkt parkering så bilen var alltid sval när vi behövde använda den. En promenad ner till stranden tar endast 10 min och en bilresa på knappt 5 min tar dig till dom större mataffärerna och shoppingmall. Strax utanför lägenheten finns en mindre mataffär och bageri samt ägarnas egna grill restaurang som jag varmt rekommenderar. Lägenheten har en perfekt utgångspunkt för flera sevärdheter runtomkring. Ägarinnan Branka var väldigt snäll och behjälplig. Hon välkomnade oss med kall öl och juice. Hon bjöd oss på pizza och en stor charkuteri bricka med massor av gudomliga delikatesser. Hon erbjöd oss även en parkeringsplats nere vid stranden som vi kunde nyttja. Hon var alltid mån om vårt välbefinnande. Nästa gång vi åker till Makarska kommer vi definitivt bo där igen. Vi rekommenderar det varmt.
